And now I don't even think I can stomach reading them. I felt I was the only person who cringed at Kabeer when he said the night is over!!!! He was never this disrespectful before Kashmir trip. The guy oozed class and had some dignity. Big ass thanks for taking the time to reply :D I know what you mean, even I had been reading WUs but made the very silly mistake of watching the last couple of episodes. Needless to say, lesson learnt! Nope you weren't the only one. I agree most people, especially on twitter, seem to think his behavior is somewhat warranted and Zara will 'change' him. Whatever. Here are my 3 versions of Kabeer.
Kabir 1.0 the guy that was crude but respectful towards woman before getting married and used to put his thoughts across eloquently. He fought with Zara before as well but never like this.
Kabir 2.0 The Kashmir track. Was that all a farce? The way he cried for Zara and the way he hugged her? Were has that man gone? You don't just change overnight. Hence I was always wary of Kabeer 2.0. He doesn't exist in my opinion. They should have never shown this side of him to us if they were going back to him being a robot with hardly any feelings.
Kabir 3.0 never existed before the past few weeks. The guy is going wild and the final nail in the coffin for me was the entire morning fiasco and the way he told Hamdan that he is lucky. Clearly he think that Ruksar is a very good wife material. He walks around throwing his weight around. He has become a self righteous arrogant Qazi. Where has his humility and manners gone?
The Kashmir wala Kabeer just seems to be a like distant dream. I can't even remember that Kabeer anymore lol. Kabeer 1.0 was the version they should've stuck with. Somewhere I feel they made him too lovey dovey in Kashmir then suddenly wanted to back-track cause they thought everything was happening too soon so regressed his character majorly. THAT is what has put me off the most! It was a mistake on their part but the makers have said they've fleshed out the story for a year's worth of the show and no amount of TRP decreases will make them waver.
And about him being a Qazi. It irks me because he has done literally NOTHING to deserve it lmao. N O T H I N G! And isn't it just hilarious how this man knew all along his dad got him married to Zara so he could get the position, but it pricked him when Rukhsar pointed it out to him like he didn't already have a f**king clue?! Come on, man. The level of idiocy and hypocrisy his character has showed recently is truly fascinating 😆
If he thinks Ruksar is wife material then I think they should get married. He should consider this as a strong possibility because clearly Zara is nothing compared to her.
Don't get me started on Zara. The woman has lost it. Where has the spunky Zara gone? The woman is just walking around not even being too upset about what Kabeer said the night before. All she has become is a dutiful wife who wants to protect her shauhar. She should protect him but not losing her own identity.
I wanted to shake her out of her bubble and bring her back to reality but clearly it's not going to happen anytime soon. Its grating on my nerves to even read about both Kabeer and Zara that never existed in the beginning.
I completely agree with you! Rukhsar will keep him happy too. She is a manipulative bitch and will say and do the exact things she knows will please him. Zara is completely wasted on a man like Kabeer. The earlier Zara had 100 times more potential than any version of Kabeer. I wish she would let him fall flat on his face so he can learn a lesson than trying to shield him or baby him from some 'harsh realities' as everyone likes to say around here lol. Let him learn the hard way. Tired of FLs saving heroes when they don't deserve it and also playing 'mera pati mera pati' with the female vamps 🥱
