Smothering him?

If Kabir is clipping her wings (from G's post) ,imo, Zara is smothering him with her love, her zeal to help him with his work, with his dreams.Like him,she is also unaware of her actions.

I was very proud of Kabir yesterday(may be the only one here). This guy has a vision .For his life, for his community. He is willing to give up his inheritance for it.And it's a vision he has been holding for ages, long before his father bulldozed him into a marriage with Zara.

He took her to the place that holds his dreams. Shared with her what dreams he has for that place. Zara was proud and fell little deeper in love with her "mullah. And then, she made his dreams their dreams. That's where trouble starts. Because, that's not what Kabir wants. For he knows they can't work together.With visions of shirtless Kabir floating in and out her head, Zara is totally in love and awe of her idealistic husband. Yes, the vamp is right. Zara is totally fidda and either she is blind-sighted to their differences in views or she is over confident of their love to over come.

She picked his clothes to match up to her father. Did he want to dress "up? She put him to sleep and completed his work for him. I'm fine with Kabir getting pissed off and trashing her notes. He would be grateful if he saw his work as a chore and happy to see someone did it while he slept. But for him, this is his life's work. It's part of his father's dream passed on to him and he is committed to fulfill. His over zealous wife should stay out of it. And help him, only when her help is sought, imo, help enforced is interference. Who likes that?

Kabir wants to be independent of his father's long shadow. He is burdened by the bride money his father paid and pretty much begged his new wife to return it. No way is he going to use that to fund his dream project. In Zara's defense I can say its bad timing.

Why is it always about Kabir's dreams? Because Zara doesn't have any dreams. She has vague ideas about wanting to do something for the community and not waste her education. She joined Sharia board only to protect her father from the machinations of the wicked Ahammeds. She wasn't prepared for it like Kabir was by Shabaz. Now that she is on board, she is determined to fulfil her responsibilities& work for women, she will not let any one stop her from doing that.

As much as I want to see Kabir reciprocate her loving gestures and pay attention to his beautiful wife, I also want Zara to respect his need for space and let him do his work, raise his funds and chase his dreams. There's no "us in them yet, it's still, "you" and "I". Zara and Kabir, two individuals from opposite spectrum of religious views forced into a marriage.Zabir will take a long time to come into being.

Edit-I mean space in general, not just physical/personal space.

P.S- I know, next week Kabir will draw more flak, he seems defensible this week.😆

IMO, Kabir is open to seek his father's help for his project but not happy with the huge amount he paid for his bride, which is above his status,what he is ATM.
My guess is he wont be making much money as the nayab Kazi, a its all charity work and his dream is too big.He only has the land,which he's giving up.

Finally a post that doesn't ask what has happened to Kabir! 👍🏼Cause honestly im tired of guessing what has happened to him!

Well thats a lot you have in Kabir's defence. Every situation has two sides and many views on it. Where on one side Zara and we are finding Kabir unresonable, many for Kabir its justified. I don't agree completely with you but i see where you are going. Kabir right now is nothing but a ambitious man whose priority is fulfilling his dream by himself. The latter being the keyword. Whereas Zara has moulded his dreams as hers and is more determined than Kabir to complete them. Maybe Kabir wants to work alone afterall its his lifetime oppurtunity but that doesn't mean he can not let Zara help him. Zara should tone down a little thou. This whole crushing on Sohar thing is going out of hand.

The real problem of Kabir is that Zara is still his duty and not his life partner or companion. He thinks he has completed his duties of being a husband in Kashmir and now wants to give his sole focus to his dream projects. Everything regarding Zara is a duty for him and since his hands are full right now, he probably wants some time before he fulfils his responsibilities as a husband again. But thats whats wrong. Their love or time they spend together must not be forced upon as a duty. Zara is offering her companionship where as Kabir is just willing to take her duties as his wife.

@bold- I think, it's not that Kabir wants to work alone, he is aware he can't work with Zara ATM.

Again, am gonna be optimistic 😆and my guess, is Kabir's confession will be more dramatic and for all to see when he bears his soul.It'll take some time before he separates the individual /Zara from the institution.
I really liked the fact he took her to the site on his own and was very open about his dreams .It's a more meaningful conversation to have than to keep complimenting the wife on her looks and stare at her lips.😆
Kabir is not an ordinary soap hero, he is a mullah, he'll be different ,for him his values and responsibilities will come before every thing /one else.

I hadn't thought of it this way. Yeah, Kabir isn't wrong in not wanting to including Zara in fulfilling his dreams. I guess he fears that including Zara in it would mean unnecessarily clashing on their opposing views. So honestly, it is fair enough if he wants to work on it, on his own.

But he definitely shouldn't be restricting Zara from working as a board member. Her being the member has nothing to do with him. She became the member before she married him and she has a right to fulfil her dreams through that.

I really hope they don't make Kabir an outright MCP. His attitude is typical of men who don't value women's contribution,because they believe they don't have anything to contribute. Remember Kabir's reaction when Zara became a member and their face off? Nothing has changed for him to see her differently, she's still the girl unfit to teach in a school run by the board.
Like Kabir, i want Zara also to earn her position there.
There's a casual acceptance of nepotism and entrenched male chauvinism this show.
why did Zara have to pick his shoes?This is a guy who packed her case and reluctantly let her pack his.The Cvs want to show Zara wants to go to work after doing her duties as wife.And still denied her right.

If he is very honest why he is accepting the Nayab Qazi position, he should ask his father or FIL on what basis i have been selected for this position. Because there are more senior members in the board. And he is very new to the board no experience/ talent(Yet to Identify by the board).Only because of Zara he was given the new position why he accepted that if he does't want Zara's any help/ interference. He should tell his father he will attain the Qazi position by his hard work and not by Zara or his father's help. And according to me Love/Pyaar/Mohabbat very far away from him.
