Media's vulturous nature has both pros and cons. It's funny how some people are quick to anger at such tactics when media's agenda is against them, and are quick to praise the same people when it suits their narrative. There have been so many cases where only the relentless pursuit of the truth by print, digital, or social media has helped in serving justice. If not for them so many of highly influential, rich people would have gotten away with heinous crimes. And, now when they do not like that the focus has shifted on them and their industry, they are vilifying media persons and the officers and police involved in the whole drugs case. Not talking about Ankit in general, but the number of celebs from the entertainment industry that have come out in support of Aryan Khan is both astounding and also unsurprising. And to do that while painting the entirety of investigative agency as corrupt or agenda-driven is an insult to those officers who are working day in and day out to fight smugglers and drug cartels. Should Aryan Khan be let go just because his father is famous and a good man? Does that make him above law? He has already admitted to taking drugs. He was caught on a cruise where illegal substances were being used. It's not like NCB people just randomly picked him up off the streets one day. Even if there are no solid evidence, everyone knows that Bollywood is heavily engages in drugs. If Aryan Khan really is involved in some international racket, only courts will decide. It's stupid to pronounce him guilty or innocent just about now.
