I feel the makers are rushing this marriage.. the intro of the show was shot before the lockdown and then once it restarted they needed to give the much needed push to the show as they have already lost the build up time for the show..

I found marriage very illogical at this point.. vansh even though an uptight character who is a smuggler and can kill anyone at any given point has been quite okay with riddhima.. and now suddenly he decides to marry her when she wants to leave is kind of crazy.. he can still keep her captive in his house as he has enough capacity to do that..

My only feel is that he knows about kabir connection.. marrying riddhima will hurt kabir where it hurts the most.. the issue of kabir and vansh is surely personal.. there was a mention of another person previously in vansh life and dadi cut it off.. there is surely some connection with kabir in the past which is personal..

I just don't understand. Why the hell is marrying her to find the truth. The whole marriage track would have made sense some what if vansh knew that Riddhima was Kabir's girlfriend and he was forcing her for marriage to hurt kabir.

But he only knows that there is someone Riddhima is protecting, not the whole truth do he could have forced her to stay but marriage is a bizzare move to make.

This sort of behaviour is not expected of a mafia king, who has all the power, Riddhima has none.

Hi all, new to forum but am throughly enoying brand new show & reading the interesting posts here. My name is Wynn, love Indian tv serials but dont speak any Hindi, so forgive me if all my responses wil be in English. Libran, you posted throught provoking question and I agree with many of the insights posted.

My own view is that Vansh has implemented this move not with his usual thinking of executing business deals. He does research on everyone who crosses his path. So why this forced marriage? Because no one to this date has stood upnto the God like complex of Vansh Rai Singhania and lived to tell the tal and no one walks out on him. His ego, pride and arrogance wont tolerate it, to date no one has the guts to do confront him, but Riddhima's button has been pushed... her button is injustice & she wont tolerate someone innocently dying for her involvement. So yes prior to Tue 28th she would do anything to help Kabir succeed but not at the cost of an innocent life being at stake. Wed 29th saw the glimpse of the warrior goddess, come to right the wrongs of one particular wrongdoer who has crossed "her path".

Is Vansh in love with her, no I dont think so. He is intrigued by her, attracted to her deep down, he knows she is hiding a secret and he wants to break her will but not kill her at least I hope not because he's killed for a lot less. Angre told him something that was muted for viewers. I feel he knows she is already involved with Kabir and this is his trap to bring the unknown 'K' into the picture but he will be drawn into a bigger trap. There were plenty of times he could have done away with Riddhima, but didnt. Why? He's drawn & attracted & intrigued by her against his will. Yes he he has treated her roughly but he has not harmed her. The bigger trap for me is that he will fall in love and be reformed... at least I hope so in tv land...but not so reformed that he does not retain his bad boy image , but no killing and torturing and illegal deals, at least I hope so, haha.

Yes he and Kabir have a past for sure, perhaps they used to be best friends until a girl got in the way, my take is we know thst Vansh was due to be married but never went through with it, perhaps because he was betrayed in love. What if the mysterious person he goes to to talk about his suspicions is actually a 'shrine to his past lover', who lies dead in a statue in the garden to pay the price of betrayal. I feel this unknown female from his past was a trio with Vansh, Kabir and X who stands for unknown. Perhaps X betrayed him for Kabir or Kabir used X who might also have been CBI to trap Vansh. I also believe Siya was hurt in the crossfire. She may well have a hidden history with Kabir, she has some secrets for sure.

Now Kabir is using Riddhima, who he loves but I dont feel is in love with as the lure, because as he himself said, she is not a trained officer, she has no spying master class skills and is an ordinary girl sent as bait into the Lions den. A person in love would not sacrifice their love in such a way... if he is such a skilled officer he woukd have found another way, but in episode two he said he has two loves, country first and his pyaar love second. His new office assistant is so clueless that he is probably Vansh's spy.

Vansh when he falls in love obsessive or not will be Riddhima first and everthing second. I am 99.9% sure he knows its Kabir but am willing to be wrong...its only a tv serial right & who knows whst Creatives have put in mind.

Well see Dadi's wish that someome will come in to bring unity to family, to show the meaning of family will be answered. Riddihma. (Btw has a new actress replaced Dadi, I prefer 1st Dadi)

Kabirs wish that he break his enemy will be answered - Riddihma

Vansh's wish to find this unknown peace will be answered -Riddihma

Riddimha is in love with Kabir but its blind love, its the idea of love, the wish to belong, to have love and family of her own but she knows deep down this is an illusion of love, she saidvto Kabir in epi 2 that in love no one asks for the heart to be sacrificed, rather they give the heart. I think she is an unwilling pawn in this game, Kabir's encouragement and finding out deeper secrets of Vansh will break her 1st love. Right now I dont feel this is a master plot of hers and Kabirs to draw Vansh out.

Riddihma's wish now to find someone to slap Vansh to know difference bwt right & wrong will be answered to put him on correct path, she herself will be agent and saviour , to me Riddihma herslf was put in God's path, she did puja for his long life, lit the diya, prayed to God to give thanks on his behalf , albeir to honour Dadi's wish for Puja but her character is such that she would not disrespect the holy temple of payer, and since Vansh is no believer in God and she prayed for him that he may find peace and right path... who is to say that all prayers are not currentky being answered.

Well that's my take on Shaadi.

VR is continuing the Mafia tradition like his late father. VR has ensured his own survival due to his cold/ruthless nature. Ridzi perhaps came into his life to be the antidote for him. But this wedding drama has no doubt confused the viewers on this forum.Only thing I know that it's an obvious trap for her.

VR being a mafia is as muddled and confusing to me as this marriage. It is a trap of course, but what will this lead to, we have no clue.

At the EOD it's the CV's who will decide the future course of action.

It will be both going forward. Boon for Vansh, but a curse to his approach as VR.

See, I know you see a lot of Deep in Vansh. But I beg to differ. I just don't see Deep in Vansh. I just see this facade of a magnanimous mafia boss cum businessman, who is trying very hard to appear vile, but he isn't. There are many more facets to him, and many more angles to his persona, waiting to be exposed.

VR might look like a classical stalker or an obsessed individual but he has his own way of figuring out the the things bothering him.He's not ensnaring Riddhima due to only obsession its part of his methodical plan to trap her pure & simple.

Ridzi is gonna pay a heavy price for Kabir's misadventure of sending her into the Devil's Den.

Not just Riddhima, Vansh will also pay a heavy price, if there is even a remote chance of them falling in love. Bacha Kabir, uske to aish hai, life sort out ho jayegi bande ki, ek taraf Vansh ki bajegi air dusri taraf Riddhima bhi phasegi.

He is Vansh. He only knows his reasons. On the surface, it is of course about knowing who is it she is working for and internally, he also has some feelings which he does not want to give any name to, because of his personal bitterness regarding relationships - be it friendship or love.

What's bizarre to us, is absolutely normal for Vansh. He has his twisted ways and reasons.

I agree that Vansh has done this as he has no there option left to nail Riddhima. His suspicions are just not letting him let her off the hook. Vansh is sure Riddhima is a pawn, and I am sure that he will get to the root cause of it, but what kind of punishment does he intend to give her after that? Her punishment is being Mrs. Vansh RaiSinghania for life. I mean is that even a punishment? I mean he has done worse to others.

Vansh is a dark character with a lot of complex shades. He is the kind of guy that does not sit well with Riddhima. Riddhima always looked for stability and no adventure in a man, which she found in Kabir. But, Kabir has only sent her on an adventure for life. Now, she has a man before her who has so many shades and secrets and she has to unravel all of it on her own. And we have to just wait and see where this journey takes Riddhima. Does it end with Vansh paying for his alleged crimes? Does Riddhima go back to Kabir? Or does she get the family she wanted and a husband, who isn't an easy man to live with, but she still accepts it and move ahead. Is Kabir as clean as we are shown? Is Vansh as dirty as they are showing?

Whoever this girl might have been had very similar traits to Riddhima, which is why I believe Kabir has chosen her to lead his mission against VR. Whatever the story is behind this animosity will be unfolded over the next episodes, whenever that happens.

I would have supported Kabir and Riddhima, had Kabir not made such a strange demand that in exchange for our happily ever after, go and ghar basao with my enemy. I mean it is sick. Koi exchange offer to nahi chal raha. I can't even begin to explain how bad that is. There could be issues with the way Vansh treats Riddhima, but that is how Vansh treats his enemies and suspects, that is expected of him. But what Kabir did to his ladylove, that is not expected of him.

I think right now the only person who looks like he is in control is Vansh, Kabir and Riddhima look so helpless, of course, it is an attempt to give some life into Riddhima and Kabir's love isshtory, but nada...not working for me.

Riddhima has kind of brought this upon herself. Aur karo God se Vansh ke liye puja. God ne bhi socha, ab tumhi sambhalo, tum me hi dum he Vansh ko jhelne ki. Kabir to giyo - ladki bhi haath se giyo aur pata nahi kya kya jayega haath se.

This is so frustrating, marrying a normal average girl just to know the truth is a fact i cannot digest, it is way too lame
