I prefer to style myself : Mishal Raheja

Mishal Raheja (Duttabhau of Laagi Tujse Lagan) is well dressed both on and off screen. TellyChakkar spoke to him on his taste in fashion.

Fashion is: I always believe in the feel-good factor. So comfort is most important when I think of fashion.

Who chooses your clothes? I do, even those I wear on screen.

Do you wear accessories? Mostly watches and bracelets!

Do you follow any brands? I follow Armani Exchange, GAS, DKNY, FCUK, Nautica, GUCCI, Emporio Armani.

Favourite shopping destination: Hong-Kong is my favourite shopping spot. I go there especially to shop as I don't shop in India.

Most expensive buy: My Puppy Amigo', as it's imported from America.

Clothes you are comfortable in: Shirt and jeans.

Favourite designer: I prefer to style myself. I like Rocky S.

Must-have in your wallet: Credit cards.

Favourite perfume: Emporio Armani.

Colour that fills your wardrobe: All sorts of blues.

Since I critique Mishal's wardrobe the most here, I thought this article was particularly interesting. 😆What do you think's changed in his fashion mantra in the past seven years? 😛

Clearly, he's still choosing his own clothes. I've often wondered if his wardrobe on IKRS was his own. I can't tell a difference between Viplav and Mishal. 😉

I think watches and bracelets are still his favourite accessories. I still remember his leather cuffs and watches on IKRS. He also seems to have a collection of watches offscreen. 😊

I don't think he follows any of these brands anymore. He seems to either be into Zara (which isn't exactly designer wear) or non-branded clothing.

If London is his favourite city in the world, then it must be his favourite shopping destination as well. Just one question - why don't you shop in India? I can't think of a designer or a fashion retail outlet from the West that hasn't opened shop in India.

We generally see him in jeans and a tee/shirt in his selfies. His comfort hasn't changed either. 😎

You're obviously still styling yourself which is why your wardrobe's either a hit or a miss. 😛 I think it's time you hire a stylist, Mishal. They could do wonders for you! As a celebrity, I find that you're a little meek in the fashion department. When was the last time you were adventurous in getting a haircut? Budget trip doesn't count! 🤪 I too like Rocky S, but only for desi. 😳

Wouldn't your ID be your must-have in your wallet, Mishy? We live in an era where it's much easier to swipe your card than carry around cash, but not every vendor accepts credit. What do you do in those situations? 🤓

I had a feeling your favourite cologne was by Armani. I was thinking more along the lines of He or Aqua di Gio. 👍🏼

I recall you saying that your favourite colour was brown in an interview with Sanjeeda last year. Even so, your wardrobe is still filled with blue from what we can tell from your selfies. You look nice in both, but black is your colour without a moment's hesitation.

I think he has not changed as far as styling is concerned in these 7 years.

Very thorough analysis, DAZZ!

I also wonder why he has to go out of India for shopping, now everything avail.

But then you know the stores cater to the need based on the geographic likes/dislikes/preference..

I think for IKRS, Viplav was the main character so I believe it would be PH or combo of both...

Hope he reads this and answers some of the questions.

Ami, wouldn't the clothing still be reflective of the brand? I understand what you mean that the style might slightly be different based on the geographical preferences in India. However, my friends that do visit India keep raving about stores like Forever 21 there. Apparently, the clothing they carry in their stores is better than what they carry here in Canada and the States. 😳

I think so too, not much has changed as far as his dressing style from 7 yrs ago, except

his fav. Shopping destination is now London like he always mentions in his tweets

This is the Mishal, the simple cool, casual yet handsome person I have come to admire.

Oh, there's no mention of his collection of sunglasses here...😳

Although, have a suggestion Mishal...if you ever change your mind & decide that you

want to hire a stylist, don't look elsewhere, because she's right here in this forum,

a great fan of yours...our dear friend DAZZ...😉 .

She has been giving you some great advice 😆 on styling, but alas you've been too busy

to listen to her. Hope you notice & start paying some attention to her suggestions...😛

And the best part is...you don't have to spend a penny, right Dazz??? 😆 😆
