I have always believed that on screen these brooding angry larger than life type of roles have an edge in establishing themselves as heroes as its a set image in public psyche of machoism. But its the closer to reality ,light roles, that are more difficult to play n even more difficult to leave an impact.one like viplav. And add to that romancing convincingly is even more difficult when playing such a character, You tend to go overboard or it becomes cheesy or embarrassing enough for you to wince... That balance in a character closer to reality is very difficult. And Mishal achieved that in viplav to a high level of perfection.It was a feat. I think in comedy ,most difficult, an actors contrbution is 90, In such light romantic roles the actors contrbution is 75 and in those brooding angry roles the writing helps ... So... And I could see streaks of very good comic timing too in viplav... I think such roles are a test for an actor.mishal passed with flying colors...
