Hello every body.
I just wanted some one to explain this for me.

I thought Dhani was wearing the purple dress for sangeet cermony.

In today's precap when she exchanged rings with Parashiya she was dressed in red. Doesn't sangeet mean engagement?

Then I watched a SBB segment in which she was wearing an orange saree for haldi.

I don't know..did she get married to Viplav in this detailed way?😕

Well. I am not complaining coz she looks beautiful. but plz tell me friends how many dresses does Indian brides need for their marriage rituals?😃

Awida... Yep Indian weddings are elaborate with rituals and fun... And yeah loads of dresses. Watch a wedding in India and you will know!!
Coming to the episodes... No sangeet doesn't mean engagement. Sangeet is just one of the elements of the celebrations. Engagement may or may not happen before sangeet.

No awida engagement is roka which happens first ...then comes haldi (where in the bride wears yellow or orange sari) , then comes mehendi, sangeet is at a later stageAnd then finally is shadi. For different ceremonies the bride wears different saris according to the traditions.
No viplav n dhani got married in a hurry in a Mandir so no ceremonies took place direct marriage happened. You may read this for knowledge.

thanks a lot Pearl. I thought haldi is mehndi . now I got it. in haldi they colored their bodies in yellow. mehndi is hena as we call it ..which brides applies on their hands and legs..

Also relatives have to wear new and beautiful dresses. this is too much . na? You know I am very lazy to attend al the rituals. I chose only one in each wedding and skip the other.😆

@Pearl ..not to forget endless poojas. I watched few episodes of Saraswatichandra ..There was a wedding..it kept running for a month..many rituals and poojas..and in the end of that ..the couple didn't even get married.😲
