hi prem ratan. 😊
Your title sounds like a one liner from "Dennis the Menance" comic strip. A kid getting admonished for his latest prank. In the case of this episode it is definitely not a kid nor is it a harmless prank that needs to be reprimanded but a serious crime by a well respected man in the society.
hummm! such a prat! needsto be banged up for sure
The episode end and end was court room drama with arguments in defense and against , verdicts and punishments .
yes pity dashrant poked hisnose in andinterefered in thecourseof justice
A public hearing : the judge Wanting to save his face from public ridicule agrees to accept the punishment set for him. In agreement with Dhani Viplav wishes him to bite the dust and rub his nose to the ground as retribution. Asthana does the needful without a single ounce of remorse rather vows to take revenge and that he will .
the legal system has really beingripped apart by cvs...
Home court is in session with Dadi bua presiding. All find fault with Dhani's means to find education and the disgrace she bought to the family with her nightly rendezvous. Lucky she has a lawyer husband who takes up her case to defend her every action. Categorically stating that he is happy with her decision and Asthana got what he deserved. DT who has seen more of the world tries to explain that this is not the end of story that Dhani has started and the judge will come back with a response. Viplav stands firm with his argument that how come the conversation is about Dhani and not the judge and why the disparity between men and women who is called characterless just by her going out at night . The argument further heats up when DB and KT join to abuse Dhani when dadi intervenes. The gentle soul is distressed as to why everyone is against Dhani when truly she is a nice girl . Each in the room lower their eyes coz in their hearts they know why they continue to malign her. Best scene of the day for me. Viplavs arguments were spot on .
such bigotry.. andt hey are not even ashamed of their pea brains..they have it infor dhani
Session behind closed doors. Dhani has some explanation to do and she sheepishly offers one when Viplav stops her to remind her of their pact . He boosts her spirits stating that he is not angry at her for lying and fully supports her endeavors . and if a day comes when she has nothing her education will always be with her. A truly supportive husband though I wish he bought up the issue of her making these decisions without him and to include him in the future . Dhani is excused with "I love you Viplav" as her atonement.
a lovely scene
Another drama takes place between Dadi bua and Kamini . And here I was a bit confused with the message and intent. In one scene Kamini tells dadi bua of how she manipulated Dhani and the judge and asks and gets blessings to continue further and in the next scene dadi bua is asking her to refrain from maligning the family name. What changed between the two scenes ? I guess the cvs are struggling to define her character and they should do it soon I like the DB actress though .
kamini is dangerous dadi bua is on high alert now kamni can nab any o
Another very good episode , action packed. The family continues to be agianst Dhani and viplav the only one standing up for her. DT is some ways was correct to tell Viplav that he needs to learn the ways of the world but I wish he had complimented him instead for taking such a bold stance. Well we know why he did not.

I hope you had fun at Wembley this Sunday and your home project near its end.
no the issue is likely to be sorted tomm.. wembley was briliant lovely warm dy 23C..
Take care and talk soon.goodo thanks pal for a great feedback enjoyed it , much love hammie

Dear Hammie,
I thought this was a message centric episode., focussing on some of society's flaws...unfair moral standards & gender bias...
The latter part from your title " off the hook", can very well be applied to all ANwasis (exception is Dadi)
Honestly Hammie, I would not side with Vip's decision to let go of Asthana so easily, no matter even if
the family's credibility is at stake here. As you pointed out, it's the emotional blackmail which gets such creeps off the hook.
Today it is the judge, t'morrow will it be DT himself, if caught redhanded & Dadi pleading to let him go???

I just want to go back to Fridays epi. for a moment...I was really irked a little with Dhani ( victim) when she pleads with Vip & says "rehne do" ( let go) of the animal ( Asthana) just when she has been physically traumatized. Agree Vip was enraged & out of control, but still, let go...no way!

Coming back , it's the very stigmas of society, that hinder positive thoughts & growth.
As was the debate with Dhani's going to a night school which will bring only disgrace to the family.
I always wonder... Is this the same Dhani who has spoken against PC , now & before , but a mute spectator to all abuses thrown at her by the people whom she considers family...just don't get this???
I expect her to speak up a little, for heavens sake.
Good gracious, Dadi spoke on her behalf for once.

Kam's feelings has now changed from lust to obsessiveness towards Vip...now she wants him at any cost. ... Will she burn her hands soon?? Hope so.

The convo. betn. DB & Kam was a little confusing at first. But then DB made herself clear, no one but she pulls the strings...Kam better watch out!

Finally, the lovey dovey couple in their private space ( well not so private with peeping Tom nearby) consoling, apologizing...& finally Dhani uttering the 3 words Vip has been longing to hear.
Wish these two lovebirds open their eyes wide before Kam does more damage behind their backs.

Thanks again Hammie, for a lovely take.
Until your next...TC

Dear Hammie,
Just a pleasure to read your beautiful narration and it was indeed a very solid epi, every scene had a purpose resonating the truth of reality and the problems the society faces at large be it the morality issues, gender inequality which you have pointed out so brilliantly. The family court room drama was indeed such a powerful enactment for me and brilliance of Mr AB representing the views of hypocritical society in heated debate with the equally brilliance of Viplav who stands for truth and justice! Loved it! Also the loving husband he is, how he stands solid in his ground to defend and protect his wife and at the same time, empowering her to follow in her pursuit of acquiring education that nobody can ever snatch away from her with such loving embrace! Just brilliant! Our IKRS is defiantly challenging the stereotypes and hypocrisy that has consumed the society at large that turns a blind eye to the real issues and repeatedly failing to serve the needs of its own people that society is meant to serve and protect. Tank you so much Hammie and long live IKRS! Jai ho!
