iam sure there was a similar episode of tola daan... was it when tania was around..was it against her weight? dash showing his financial might?

Viplav unsettled after his unsuccessful attempt at sleuthing as he still is not clear as to what and why is Dhani hiding anything from him . He gives her another chance to confess but Dhnai holds her ground , she still wishes to give him a surprise. The elephant in the room is not going anywhere soon.

DT in his pursuit to amass his power and prestige back from the pandits of the benaras society holds a "Tula Daan" collecting funds for his new favorite project which is to help emancipate the widows of his town. Dhani is chosen as the symbol of change and a shining example of how these unfortunate women can begin new lives. His grandson has set such an example which is praiseworthy.

Now my favorite scene : The ceremony begins with Dhani sitting at one side of the scales when The judge begins to pile gold on the other . Viplav senses a discomfort at this exercise and the use of his wife asks to stop the process and for Dhani to get up . His issue , the label with which his wife continues to be tagged with , in this case an ex-widow glorified for a noble purpose. The objection is not to the cause but the symbol representing it , his wife . Yes she was a widow but neither did he see her as one when he fell in love with her nor were his intentions any different from a normal man in marrying her. He simply fell in love that's all. He has and always look at her as a women, his love.
yes ratna... well pointed again... that he loves her .no favour to any one.. I recall when bua was trying fix viplav with kammy .. when bua refused to accept vidha marriage you had said in a comment.. helooo but viplav loves dhani.. end off!!
DT skillfully recovers from a brief shock to Viplav objection and suggests RL's name for the Daan . Dulaari senses a tension between Vplav & Dhnai and informs her of his visit to the ashram . She is surprised that he did not tell her about it and now is sure that he is upset with her for lying. Dhani also tells her mom about her new friend Kamini who after dadi is the only one who speaks with her nicely . In a houseful of people who hate her Dhani looks for companionship and Kamini has taken advantage of this very void . Viplav continues to sulk and walks away leaving an agitated dhani at the mercy of Kamini who continues to misguide .
i can sense dulari is suspicious of kammy..
DT and dadi bua bump into each other in the corridor and the big sister gives him a lesson on duty versus money . The subject of the sermon coming from her was appropriate but her taking the high road on this one was unacceptable to me. Dadi bua's actions against Dhani and encouraging Kamini to me is equally inappropriate. both brother and sister are made for each other and i did not miss DT still saying that "Vidhwa Dhaani.." .
yes... ratna, bua clocks on all this tola dhan can be revenge tactic against dhani..
Overall another good follow . This week has not been bad. If there is one thing I could ask to be changed is can Kamini please stop cupping Dhani's face while speaking with her. Its highly inappropriate. ... yes such a suave bully she is...

leaking pipe in lounge celing its located.. will need replacing then whole lounge needs to be decorated so that wil be home and contents insurance.. the leak plumber coming tomm..

The Tula daan ,a ritual done for a good cause...the Sita Temple.

This so called Mahapandit, at present only a pandit has absolutely no conscience..

Puts on a masquerade in front of the gathering that includes his family & calls out Dhani for the ritual

Wow! He needs her help in getting back his power, wealth & what not.

thats the word! such a fake he is... hoodwinks..

Loved it when Viplav intervened & ordered Dhani to get off the scale. All along while Dhani was on the scale, it got me thinking, about the symbolism of this act.

Dhani represents Purity & goodness...can this be weighed & balanced with gold & silver?????

Viplav expressing his feelings about Dhani & their reln.ship to all was the highlight of this event & the episode.

Pure & simple ,ISHQ...thanks to the cvs for this

yes... the dialogue was simple.. married , because I feel in love...

It was nice to see Ashram ladies, & the mother's concern for her daughter...but Dhani still under Kam's spell convinces her mother, all is well & speaks in favor of Kam..

I also enjoyed the convo betn. Siblings...the big sister advising & warning her greedy brother to change his acts for he can lose it all in the blink of an eye.

It's easy to lecture one, but " practice what you preach " is tough.

DB is no saint, she is as evil as her brother, in a different way.

Will God as the judge make her pay for her sins ??? Absolutely.

The siblings compliment each other pretty well.

yes... it was a scene with substance...

Watched Fridays episode & tears welled up on one particular scene.
