Although the current scene is very tough to watch seeing Dhani made to feel wrong in every way possible way by her in-laws, constantly tormenting her and making her feel the shame, guilt and unworthiness of being Viplav's wife, yet the scene depicted is not far from the truth. Dhani symbolises the woman who silently bears the shame, guilt and torments and yet continues to be amidst these perpetrators who she considers them as her own. She bravely shoulders on the daily drama where she is made to belong in the hall of shame just as Dhani is in the scene. The sheer humiliation that Dhani undergoes for something she is wrongly accused of and the perpetrators fully knowing this so that they can take advantage of the situation does happen in reality. People taking advantage of other people because they are from certain background, race, religion, etcetera and hence this otherness makes them blind to the suffering and pain they inflict on others.
My heart really went out to Dhani today and I just wanted to cuddle her and tell her " You did not do any wrong", " You are innocent". The way the very vicious dadi bua poured ganga jal on Dhani telling her that she can never be cleansed from the sin she committed although fully knowing that it was not true, those very words she said to Dhani would one day be her own truth for inflicting such pain and suffering to Dhani. Time will be the biggest healer and teacher for Dhani and the perpetrators as they reap the harvest of what they have sown and we all know who has sown what seeds! When the payback time comes, we hope we are in for a real treat! For maltreating Dhani, we hope we can get to see how they in turn will get as good as they gave times even more! As for Dhani, we hope we can see her carrying herself with dignity and pride as she stands by her man who sticks with her through thick and thin😊

Hello Kaju,
Welcome to the forum
You explain very well & yes it's been a torture to watch this for weeks . Have not watched the episode yet, but have an idea.

Dhani has been the target of the DT & KT ever since Viplav developed a fondness for her.
The torture is ten fold now that she is the Bahu, & with additional perpetrators in the household.
This is more of an emotional torture, hurting her spirit.
How long can this go on is the question?

But again, how close this level of torture is to reality, I wonder.
TV dramas are highly exaggerated, & this is no exception.

This show initially promised to focus more on upliftment & many other positives, but we all know
that does not work well on Indian Tv...sadly but true.

The only sane part is Vip standing up for her, loving her unconditionally & their cute romance.
As you say, looking forward to that day when Dhani will confidently stand up & speak up for herself
& hopefully her perpetrators are made to bow down their head in shame.

Kaju a very well written post . You are new here but I do recollect responding to you before as well.

Regarding what Dhani is undergoing and it being a reality I do empathize that it maybe true . The inlaws making her feel unworthy is a real situation . Even Viplav when he says he feels helpless when people say mean things to her . So what do you think is a way out of it all ? Should Dhani continue to suffer and let her self esteem be further reduced ? And Viplav should he wait that one day maybe his family starts to respect his wife ?

Both characters seem to be wearing blinders . Not recognizing the people they are surrounded by hence the frustration . Dhani knows people hate her then why are her defenses not up and why does she continue to be so trusting . Similarly Viplav when he knows everyone is after her why is he also so good and trusting and not thinking of protecting his wife from it . Even the Kamini flirtation ..

I as the audience need to see them smart and not push overs . I need to see some progression . And I need to see some positive guidance to the two .

I was sooo put off with DB behavior today and the servant like behavior with Dhani . It was morose.

Keep writing it's good to have a chat.

Thank you so much all you lovely IKRSians if I may say so as we seem to share the same passion for this and I am so glad I found this forum to express my view and that you all kinda understand me in relation to the show. I feel I am not the only one feeling the way I do and I can connect with likeminded people like you to share our thoughts that also connects with reality and how we perceive life and how the scenes depicted comes close to reality and makes us enquire the way things have been and may be we should look at things from another perspective. Anyways I know I am bonkers but hope you all can bear with me.

Here's my take on this. Although Vidha's love for each other is unconditional yet they live in a conditioned society that demands its member to be a certain way and if it doesn't fit their description, they will try their level best to make life hard for that person to get rid off which is the case here with Dhani's background as a widow which the Tripathi Kandan cannot seem to get over it as they still have an issue with this as clearly evident and frankly that's how the society in general operates in reality.

Dhani needs to have a good supportive backing for instance her mai, badi amma who can give her the inspiration and wisdom to continue to grow amidst all the chaos in her life, who listens to her pain and reassures her that she is not at fault instead of panicking and telling her off for not managing her household. Mother like figures can be such a source of healing, let that be shown. We have been shown how one woman is inflicting so much pain to another woman yet the same woman can also be a source of healing to another woman. When Dhani has so much support from her network and Viplav, she can do her duty as a bahu but not be identified by the label they callously barrage on her. With her education and finding a skill workshop to go to, she needn't be with the family all the time, maybe we can see her in the new image of a working woman ( wishful thinking )which I know the family will protest too vehemently no doubt but this is where Viplav needs to stand by her side and convince the family with all his might and if that fails, he should choose to support her in her growth because Dhani has so much potential to become her own identity. When she begins to find her grounding, she no longer will be manipulated or harassed by this people in fact they themselves will be embarrassed to do such things to her if she perseveres in her growth and hold her ground. Viplav has a pivotal role to play in her growth and yes, they both cannot deny their family and sometimes, have to bear the brunt of it, but as their love and support for each other grows strong, the same family will one day bow down to them and ask for forgiveness. Dhani then will definitely be the Rani

I agree with what you say, but at the same time do not like it. I want both Dhaani and Viplav to be an example, not to be taken for granted, to be strong, to discern what is wrong, to be wise in their trust. I am totally against blind faith and hoping things will get better... It does not. People will continue with their ways if you accept what they gave you and you do not complain or make an effort to refuse to be insulted.
It is good to be pure and holy or whatever but it is stupidity to be taken for a ride time and again...

Agree Kiran and this is more for Dhani to know when to bear it all as a Bahu a wife a daughter and when to stand up for self respect . Viplav many a times has pointed out that being good all the time is harmful . At least learn to differentiate from good versus bad .

And yes I think also she is not confident as to why she is loved so much by this man and somewhere she feels inadequate . That makes her take on all the abuse she gets . This is where I'd like her to educate herself and stand up against the likes of Kamini .

Well said .u exactly pointed out everything that was in my mind. The current track is irking me a lot .every one is hating her in AN ,only cv's know the reason behind this.Only gud thing is dhani is getting educated and i doubt will she be able ti complte this or this is just a show off. Dhani should stand up for herself but the problem is that somewhere deep down in her mind she has a feeling that she is unworthy of all this ,I will not blame her becoz her past ,her illiteracy, status ,wealth etc are the problms .Kamini and bua are trying to use all this to there benefit and dhani is slowly falling in to this trap.
