Let me pen down my thoughts-
Colors has killed its own golden goose by making three key shows a daily from mon to sunday..

Both Thapki and Simar have witnessed huge drop in their trps after sunday telecast was introduced.
Same goes for IKRS
People usually take Sunday as a rest day and visit malls.
Sunday viewing pattern is different

What works on Star Plus can't work on Colors.

Both Ikrs and Tpk are relatively new shows and Suhani & Saathiya have a better loyal audience.

Both IKRS and THAPKI came so close to defeating suhaani and gopi vahu but Colors didn't utilise that opportunity

Now coming to the main point
Summers are usually not a good period for early evening shows.
Such shows struggle to get trps as most people watch tv late in Urban areas. Even Vishkanya with so much promotion has
0.7 trps.

Colors is very weak in rural areas and that doesn't help too.

I am afraid because of TWO MAIN THINGS.

1- Zero Promos and lack of Repeat Telecast is usually not a good sign for any show.
Shastri Sisters and MATH are perfect examples of the same. They got axed soon due to the same factor..

2- Shakti-Astitva Ehsaas Ki

the show in all probability will launch only after IPL

The show can replace Balika Vadhu because bv is dipping in trp.
The show looks like a prime time show
however Ikrs too looked like a prime time show but it got an early evening non-prime time slot.

Nothing can be said right now.
A lot depends on how BV season 2 performs and whether ikrs can get 1.5 trps again.

we need a change in time slot soon...and also channel needs to promote it...else nothing can happen...except trp audiences like me wh regularly watch the show at 6:30, others dont know what is happening in this show...not a single repeat telecast...i was arguing with my mom the other day and refused to go out with her for shopping...becoz my net is slow and i will not be able to catch the epi online and there is no repeat except the one at mid-night...promos dene se pehele repeats dikhayo...whats the faida of promos if people, who are at work or in tution at 6:30 cant watch the repeat telecast..

you have made such valid points . absolutely agree with you. let me also add that when IKRs was being made the plan was to replace BV as its trps had dipped. so IKRS initially was planned for 8 pm. but then suddenly BV trps increased and ikrs got 6.30 pm .

even i am apprehensive about the two points u mentioned.

to be honest I want both bv and ikrs to stay specially ikrs.
I have a strong feeling Bv is getting a new slot post IPL and ikrs will touch at least 1.3 trp soon.

Thing is Colors major trp comes from Delhi where it is the ultimate channel. Viewing pattern has changed and hence the low trps.

I wish Colors starts Sunday Blockbuster episodes instead

IKRS will stay
if a Trishakti can fetch 3 trps at an odd time slot
then anything can happen
we just need a promo
