Meenu I am in the minority here and will say that I disagree when Dhani is called mahaan .
She has spent a lifetime swimming against the tide. She found this man who loves her so much and his family is part of him . Somewhere she tells herself that she is the cause of his miseries at lest Kanak makes her fell it ( last time dadi did when she was in jail ) . In the current situation too she is fighting for Her husbands family .
And where is the fight if you leave the battleground itself . This is what she is trying to explain Viplav . He is upset with the way the family has treated him - his flashbacks when leaving were the words said by family not Dhani . He knows she puts others first . Dhani knows Vip will not leave her both have this bond . She does follow him to the ashram .
Dhani is being brave and string something she learnt from Vip . And what is wrong in being righteous . She is not betraying Vip in fact she is trying to be his shield .
