Children do put their parents through several difficult and tricky situations. As per Dulaari to Kanak - "They may make many mistakes but in the end they are our children and we give in " The point is do the children understand where their parents or elders are coming from ? At times they do and most times they don't. And how much can you protect your young ones who are hell bent on making their own choices. Its a very tricky balance and a combination of moral values, trust and faith between the two parties.
Viplav has a dinner planned for his wife and its a surprise. He brings her a saree as gift and Dhani as any wife wants to look pretty for him. Viplav for one cannot take his eyes off the "gorgee .." wife . The picture perfect couple head out for the evening informing Kanak & Shallu of their outing. Its a shame that Kanak is unable to accept or acknowledge the graciousness and respect offered by Dhani who informs her that they will try and not be late . Maybe she should have just walked out along with her husband. Bitter bitter Kanak is condemned to burn in her own fury.
Maybe I should forgive Viplav for all the time I accuse of him spending time romancing Dhani and neglecting his family or pursuing a useful occupation. HE has been working in the background to find a suitable match for his sister. He gets it that one way to get RAja off Shallu's mind is to find a suitable forward thinking guy who will accept her for who she is . And this time he invites the family to sort matters out before he breaks the news to the Tripathi's . The boy and the family seem liberal and willing to meet Shallu the next day . I for one liked the guy ...anyone but ( Mr Creep, My Funny Pants, Mr Colgate , Mr 32 Teeth ...) Dolly can add more.
The Family is all excited about the news as they know the family and the boy. It is also time to move on ...but is Shallu ready to do that . She complains of the rush and Viplav like an understanding brother asks her to give it a chance and there is no obligation. Thanks dude for doing it correct this time. Shallu has other plans ..she is in defiant mode ..against everyone who has belittled her and her feelings. She comes down to meet everyone with sindoor to declare that she considers herself married and is not looking to form an alliance. To the shame of the entire Tripathis family yet again loose their prestige . DT is enraged but Kanak not taking responsibility throws the blame on the "outsider".
KAnak for me is becoming more and more intriguing by the day. She covers her flaws with her anger and scorn. For her the best defense is offence. She is one character I am really looking forward to see for any progression . IS there hope , i wonder.
Viplav enraged too follows Shallu to try and put some sense into her head. She in her state is unable to accept anything that is being said to her because for her it only seems that her brother is siding with his wife with no regard to his sisters feeling. She questions him of his trust in Dhani versus hers in Raja. Shallu's misfortune lies in the lack of her mothers interest in her. If only Kanak would forsake her hatred for Dhani and give some thought to the real issue she would not have two unhappy children. Shallu is beyond listening...and any further ensues will make her more stubborn. HE walks back into his room worried and angry at not being able to help his sister see things as they are. Dhani consoles him and take on the job to speak with her again tomorrow.
A well done episode with Viplav Dhani - Mishal - Eisha looking GORGEE .
