Hammie yet another nuanced and detail take of an episode that revealed a lot. Truly I so look forward to what you have to say about the 20 mins .
What is the truth and how it can be manipulated but there is ONE who knows it all. All that is required is faith and perseverance for it to unfold.
For me the episode was akin to shock waves after an earthquake with a sweet innocent girl at the epi centre . Tripathis biased by their hatred absorbing the devastation , the shrewd Avasthis finding a means of survival thru trickery , the ashram ladies panicking to grapple with the aftermath . And in all this stands a man alone driven by his own conviction and belief that his world - his Dhani - has a reason for what she did . If only he can get to meet her.
Further What was interesting was a well done screenplay . It included all the participants of the play and their reactions minus Dadi & Shallu which for some strange reason were excluded . And so was Raja relating his sob story well interlaced with flashes of real events recollected by Dhani . I thought it was well done.
KT & DT are devastated by the shame and humiliation they'd have to face with a broken marriage of their daughter and for them that is their primary concern . Not to undermine the other fact that Viplav continued to meet Dhani behind their back . DT & KT continue to reject Dhani and it is going to be very interesting to see how they react to the news of the wedding. KT begs Sulakhna to complete the wedding but she'd rather follow Raja to check what he is up to . Her rejecting the wedding is such power play seeing a maha pandit family beg with folded hands. Reprehensible .
Dulaari's worst fears have come true the one that she and her daughter had been running away from . She has been arrested for the murder of her husband. Hysterical she and the ashram ladies rush to the police station to find Viplav outside. She falls at his feet asking him to save her as her daughter is innocent. Personally I found her to be over the top i usually do ...but i guess this was expected as she feels helpless.
The crux of the episode was of course Viplav's steadfast stance and support of Dhani . Loved him turning his back to Raja when he enters the police station and his body language to say - I don't believe anything that you say. Does Raja really think he can sway Viplav to give up on Dhani , a good try nevertheless. I say it again this actor is weak and quite an irritant if you ask me . Miss Trip and him curling his mustache and Jai Shankar .
Dhani's past story is very insipid. I expected more . The creepy BIL is bad but the death of the brother as an accident was boring . It leaves the door open for Raja to continue to be a villain and not implicate him . Maybe DT & KT do not agree that Raja is a creepy man and may insist to marry their daughter and in order to take revenge from Viplav Raja may agree to marry.
I wonder what will the case be all about when there is no real witness to it .
Loved Viplav / Mishal parts . His primary concern was Dhani and as you pointed out he did leave his sister behind . Maybe he will get to her eventually . He did give Dulaari some priority .
I missed reading your response to my last post - White Washed . I do get late posting so really not a complain. Looking forward to more Ishq ...
Take care.
