Dhani called in to the break the stallion gone wild. Survana appeals to her friend to influence her beau Viplav. It now seems that Viplav is out to get her husband Tripurari. It also appears that Viplav's judgement appears clouded due to past atrocities that Tripurari the accused by committed against Viplav and Dhani . The focus now shifts from Viplav's demand of Tripurari's arrest on suspicion of murdering his father, to a cold war between Dhani and Viplav.. What the hell is Dhani doing here in the first place doubting his judgement ? Viplav moans inside. Kanak turns up and watches from far, how her son's demand is going to be turned down by the police anyway. Regardless to which, Tripurari rather effortlessly turns himself over heroically from the offender to the victim!.. Since he knows the police will remind Viplav that due to insufficient proof Tripurari cannot be arrested ,as Tripurari puts it, but simply Viplav's baseless accusation against an innocent man
The ring ,true evidence against Tripurari is returned to a frustrated Viplav. It's a vicious circle of smart deceit, possibly cooked up between Kanak and Tripurari together. As Tripurari gives Viplav a mocking look. In wafts Kanak as the caring mother , ready to support her son. she baffles him , what is she doing ? Dhani gets a dirty look from Kanak as she grabs his arm to leave .. he heeds, but Viplav, a good man is now divided between two women, one simple and sincere , the other who bore him.. brazen and wily.. but Viplav reaches out for Dhani's arm only she declines out of regard for his mother, to accompany him . Dhani gives credence to his mother by bidding him to leave with her,as she'll come later. But Viplav is not amused, he fails to understand why Dhani lingers behind with Suvarna and Tripurari? and rather bitterly comments, she needn't bother.. Dhani is disappointed by his cold reply.. a subtle chill is evident between them.. Tripurari's game plan from now on is to transform from his previous, lowly subservient, menial persona to a, confident, assertive and king of his castle his small family semblance . He will, with dignity face , Viplav's outbursts, so as to make him look insane , demented and vindictive.. The above scene ,very nearly proves it..
Dulari as a mother much in distress recounts and under duress cannot rule out the possibility that many inauspicious incidents have happened to Viplav due to Dhani's widow yog. Inderani rather not hear such negativity . Viplav too dismisses the idea of widow yog before his mother and rather shocks her by telling her that his father's death was not due to natural cause ,but that he was murdered by Tripurari and that he wouldn't rest till he finds proof against him and gets him banged up for life. Kanak fears her son's suspicion against Tripurari as Viplav 's suspicion then might fall from him to her also.. she needs to see to it her sons' suspicion is removed. She craftily creates a doubtful diversion for Viplav's mind, if he suspects Tripurari then how come Dhani was with him? besides she got him out of jail in the first place! Viplav admits he too is surprised and Kanak.. finds a way of diverting attention from Tripurari and herself by casting aspersion of Dhani's interest in Tripurari..
The three friends Dhani ,Suvarna, Rajlaxmi, talk.. outcome , Suvarna's plea to Dhani, show Viplav ,his reason for suspecting Tripurari is unfounded ,Raj laxmi disagrees with her outrightly a man who tried to kill her won't stop at anything besides ,Raj laxmi supports Viplav,if he suspects there must be a reason? which will be revealed eventually ! Suvarna admits before Dhani the night the incident happened , Tripurari was sleeping with her.. she has to believe her! and please make Viplav see that!she urges Dhani..so Tripurari covered his back by using his wife as his alibi. No wonder he struts around like a puffed up plumed rooster.
A concerned son wants to know before sitting at the dining table , if his mother had eaten? She hadn't and Viplav looks for her.. is panic ridden when he can't find her .. and when he does , she sits on the veranda. in the cold just like Dhani a widow! had sat. Now presents Kanak a satricical skit of a widow , reciting repeated scriptures after every bead..her food is a portion of simple frugal dry food and a lump of cane sugar! She says satirically she has to adopt and put into practice a widows life in sincerity , be simple and live life as an ordinary person.. not like some widows who profess widowhood in name only, but in practice they look to their own interests.. Viplav loses it and protests agitated, enough is enough! he won't tolerate this any longer! why does she have to make taunts and scoff Dhani in everything! can't she see he loves Dhani! and he loves her too! can't she see her sons's anguish? Viplav bellows at the top of his voice, dada ji, shalu and dadi watch Viplav in empathy! Dadi tries to signal to Viplav that he has to be patient.. Kanak continues in mock humility, aye Viplav.. don't you lie! but she never took Dhani's name.. did she? dhaneee. She mocks, did she take her name? and Viplav growls , he knows what she meant! and Kanak cries crocodile tears and wails, see! this is what happens! I lose my husband! and a son who has gone after Dhani! time and again he's on her case! can someone tell her ,did she mention Dhani's name? annoyed Viplav yells, did you hear every one , she takes Dhani's name again! and crying he goes off in a strop! Kanak continues, maa ji did she do anything wrong? dadi consoles , it's nothing ,he's distressed that's why, he said what he said.. and dadi takes Kanak inside the house.. the scene was a planned on going attack by Kanak on Dhani as a way of winding up Viplav, in the chance of putting him off Dhani,by recurring attacks on Dhani... this strategy will be carried forward by Tripurari on Viplav too.. Kanak's caricature of acting out a widow ,forces Dashrant to muse that Kanak is not the kind of woman who would abide by the norms of being a widow? then why her theatrics? something fishy about all this?
Viplav leaves his house at an ungodly hour, because his heart knows and leads him to a home where he would always be received with open arms..one reluctant, knock on the door and what luck ! his love opens the door ,what luck! she's just the person he needs right now ,broken and dispirited! One look at her face he felt like crying, she knew he needed her , so she took him in by the hand and sat him down.. then he spoke , he tried so hard to tolerate.. but his feet invariably head for this place.. Dhani empowers him, one that gives courage to others, cannot lose it himself..this does not sound right.. he has always helped her, taught her self-reliance, besides why does he keep forgetting that she's with him forever!.. Troubled Viplav asks her directly, if that's the case ,then what was she doing with Tripurari out side his house.?he clenches his teeth and warns her, he might be her friend Suvarna's husband, but he suspects him! and once he finds proof he'll ensure he's back in prison he, he sure Tripurari lies about the ring! Dhani consoles Viplav, best he not be worried ,as the truth will be revealed, and Tripurari will receive his punishment ..and as for him. he needs to be beside his mother, and all his anger abates and he reaches for her hand.. and says with joy don't know who to thank? her? or the almighty? his mother says the most awful things about her, doesn't that worry her at all? and dhani replies calmly ,her only worry is about what his mother is going through? he needs to take care of her, for he is her strength and he turns his face to her .. yes he is his mother's support and she is his support ..Tomorrow he will scatter his babbas ashes at the river..she 'll come ? won't she?, he asks, she replies yes..
Basically Kanak raised a niggling question what was Dhani doing at tripurari's place. Instead of moping around,Viplav goes to Dhani and gets the matter clarified rather than let it fester and create a gap between them! So all of Kanak's performance of mocking widows, sends her son to seek solace in Dhani's love.Dhani will continue to have Viplav s love an deepest respect as she'll consistently ask Viplav to comfort and console his mother, whilst Kanak will persistently continue to badmouth Dhani.. it's her cruel nasty and intolerant side that will make Viplav and Dhani's love gain strength.
If Kanak faces a dreaded change to her status, her son Viplav too is not far behind in the race of facing his fair share of trauma.
As the eldest son , he not only is expected to support and take emotional responsibility for his grieving mother, he also seen to be carrying out all the duties of a son during the bereavement rituals of his father. Viplav brings his fathers body home from the hospital; is the pall bearer of the coffin, lights the funeral pyre; and finally scatters his fathers ashes in the holy Ganges. If this isn't enough? Viplav at the ghat also suffers Tripurari's new form of taunt attack weaponry .
For Tripurari, affronting Viplav at the ghat about the evidence ring, is not only a pay back for Viplav's false accusation against him.. but also a slap on Kanak's face too! for all the derision Tripurari suffered at her hands in the past. where ever the opportunity arises , he will scoff, deride Viplav and whip him into a furious frenzy, both in private and public life.Tripurari is successful in his goading Viplav attack where he transforms Viplav into becoming a dangerous spectacle who not only attempts to publically assault him! but also threatens to kill him! all this publically.. here goes maha guru's grandson!
Much to both Kanak and tipurari's delight, Dhani's intervention to stop Viplav from attacking Tripurari also works as a degree of vindication for both Tripurari against both Viplav and Dhani as Viplav rather unceremoniously denounces Dhani's questionable concern for his welfare, but a budding inclination for his foe Tripurari . Don't touch me! Viplav snarls at her with cold distant frigidity in his eyes for her! Dhani of course suffers from confused dejection? by Viplav's attitude..
Like his ceremonially half-dressed bare body, Viplav's other side of being a new age, vibrant, sane ,educated lawyer, lay's bare today.. a dangerous, unsafe wounded lion... roarrr.. he prowls off in pain..
Fine episode , saw in it bits and pieces ,so couldn't treat it the way I would.. but questions are raised about Viplav's distress , and how the two pronged attack from Kanak and Tripurari is crawling under his skin? For Viplav to smite these two ,undoubtedly he would need support from other positive inputs in his life , like Dhani and dadi to begin with. does Viplav maintain a balance between brawn and brain? between sentiment and reason? does godly wisdom need to be invoked? The episode was robust and pacy..looking forward to seeing more of Ishq.. Hamlet53 17.1. 16
