IKRS Monday 11th January 2016 ep 134 My Take

It comes as a surprise, causes bewilderment, creates a muddle in one's mind if one is seen to be part of something one is not even remotely aware of or involved in .The one reasonable thing left for the person is to clarify his or her position, so as to clear up misperceptions , and slip ups on the part of the opposing party. Today's episode is based on this idea.

Mind you when I saw the episode I couldn't help but think of a popular phrase ," being framed"..i.e set up either by false evidence or by false testimony to falsely prove person to be guilty.Of course the person that springs to mind against whom all accusing fingers point at are is Dhani.. The poor widow tipped to be the new daughter in law of ayodhya niwas. But the difference in the evidence is to present Dhani in a partly positive light before her friend Suvarna but in a terribly damaging light before her fiance Viplav.. The episode has interesting moments when well wishers , become defence lawyers for both of them before themselves, thus talking through and aiding both Dhani and Viplav to externalize what goes through in their hearts and minds.. Let's us see the how this all happens..

Dhani and Raj laxmi get a shock when Suvarna comes crying and begs her to stop Viplav from putting tripurari back jail ,where as she got him released. This comes as a piece of news to Dhani! Suvarna surprises Dhani even more when she cries,she's forgiven Tripurari but viplav still hasn't..

As if the shock is not enough dashrant too arrives and shoos Suvarna away and questions Dhani why did she get Tripurari released,? as it defies him why did she pull back her charges.?Dhani by now is on the defensive, cries out firmly ,but she did no such thing!and before she can go any further, Viplav comes from the side and sneers , because dada ji Dhani does what seems right to her! Dhani can see he's angry and he walks and stands before her and continues, she does what she likes doing.. Dhani is both confused and hurt by his words and his tone.. she likes to be upright.. and he sneers , you shown your uprightness now? Dhani realizes Viplav is really angry .. and she says but..and coldly he raises his palm and stops her, no need to say anymore! lets go dada ji , it's pointless now, and he turns to leave and Dhani calls out, at least listen to me! and he does stop but spews out all that is an admixture of what he heard from Dhani and the evidence he had seen that supports it's.. that she was concerned about Suvarna? that she did all this for Suvarna and that not once did she think about the promise she made him.. that she wouldn't talk about getting Tripurari released..that's upset him the most , why did she get him released, and Dhani screams ,for heaven sake , listen to her! why would she do such a thing! she didn't do it! Viplav replies calmly, it's done whatever she did ,and now she's covering it up, by lying.. not having the courage to admit that she did it for Suvarna? Dhani is stunned by disbelief at his words, he growls, admit it you got Tripurari out! Raj laxmi cries out in Dhani's defence, but Viplav as a man of law relates all to Dhani, he has seen her visit to the police station.. she was caught of camera. he saw her putting her thumb print! Dhani sensed the more she heard him the more distant he began to sound,.. she cries in despair, it is all a lie every bit of it! he has to take her word for it! but Viplav just grits his teeth at her stubbornness to admit what she did.. he says ,he's hurt because she betrayed his trust and Dhani lashes out, at least trust her ,why would she do all this? any way since he's not willing to listen, there's no point.. he thinks she's betrayed him , but she feels he betrayed her trust, he's willing to believe what the whole world says! but not on her!and he calmly replies because what she says is not true! and she screams she is telling the truth and he says , no she's not and she yells , she is telling the truth only it seems a lie to him!and now she is not going to give any more clarifications! and he turns and Dhani too turns and drags Rajlaxmi back into the house.. Raj laxmi protests, Dhani at least clear the misunderstanding!but Dhani says loudly , no there's no need for that! .. To me , at least both were pretty vocal about what grievances they have towards each other. It's hard to tell what Dashrant's role was? a facilitator of this confrontation , or is he a silent smooth operator , judging how things between these two are panning out?.. he has always believed in letting things happen according to what destiny allows. Kanak's words about, men they see more and listen less..are so evident in the scene as Viplav harps on about evident based information.. and he refuses to listen to Dhani.. and in the end the trust issue crops up as a serious barrier between them..also Dhani has been framed..she is beginning to realize it ,but Viplav doesn't see this as yet..

Dhani, suggests to Raj laxmi that she'd better go and speak to Suvarna ,but all her worst fears come true as both Suvarna and Tripurari turn up and offer thanks for setting Tripurari free ! The scene is full of gratitude , praises for Dhani's graciousness but under cover the wily and low life Tripurari taunts ,gibes and sneers at Dhani..the scene where he grips her feet, goes under cover for her leg too.. is an insult to her widow hood.. all the time he insinuates that he has got her fixed in a tight spot wherein it will be impossible for her to walk away free from his on coming , emotional and mental blows.. furthermore when the rest of the widows return ,under the deceit of thanks and gratitude he taunts Dulari ,she is one blessed mother to give birth to such an upright daughter.. both mother and daughter had slapped him.. not so long ago ,now it gives him tremendous pleasure to slap them with the truth ,that he's out to make their life hell.. and they'll never know as Dhani will be busy going in circles trying to prove she has nothing to do with his release! In fact Tripurari leaves, as he creates dissension between Suvarna and Dhani.. due to Dhani's abrasive turn..

Viplav lets off steam with dada ji and reiterates that Tripurari is a criminal who needed to be banged up.. and that too for Dhani's personal safety.. he has no moral scruples , to marry Dhani he even stabbed survana .. Kanak slyly comes in and enjoys the debate .. dadi puts in a good word for Dhani , may be she did it for Suvarna and Viplav says ,that's why he got a promise from Dhani.. and Kanak smiles ,as it's this promise that she played on on scored a victory .. Viplav continues that Dhani has her principles, for truth, that she stands up for.. but she has more sense, why did she do this? Dashrant says , no Viplav ,it's not Dhani , this seems to be Tripurari's move.. and Kanak scoffs, in the sides, but much to her delight Viplav says he would have believed what Dhani said.. but he saw the cctv footage.. kanak smiles and lauds herself.. well done queen Kanak.. plan one successful ,now for plan two..which will separate Viplav and Dhani.. in this scene Viplav acknowledges Dhani's quality of standing up for the truth.. he does wonder why she wavered from her word? but again he proves he bases his judgement on evidence that incriminates her..

Dadi tells Viplav to break his relationship with Dhani on the basis that she didn't adhere to what he suggested ,instead she went and did her own thing..but Viplav disagrees and clearly said that he is very angry but he unwilling to break his bond with her. dadi is pleased and suggests that he needs to see her and talk it through with her. At the Ashram Rajlaxmi tells Dhani to end the relationship with a man who doesn't trust her ,in fact doesn't even give her a chance to say her side of the story.. in fact he doubts her and believes what the camera told him.. he believes she has done it..but Dhani says she loves him ,and Raj laxmi says , she needs to use her mind and speak to him to clarify matters before it gets too late.. for me this was the finest scene of the episode where two people close to Viplav and Dhani.. dadi and Raj laxmi play the devil's advocate , and cajole Dhani and Viplav to acknowledge that in spite of all they love each other and will not break their bond.. in fact the two devil's advocate promote that Viplav and Dhani meet to sort things out..

last scene kanak plans someone's death.. gloats in her victory,pays off the inspector ,and appoints tripurari as the assassin for the job in hand..

overall I liked the episode, plenty of plus points.. hamlet53 12.1.16

Saturday we left off being warned of an impeding storm , as in a misunderstanding , that would rock the boat for these young lovers who have just set out on their journey. Speculations and anxiety loomed as to will they be able to weather this storm . I had braced myself for any eventuality consoling thyself that this shall pass too. Heck I was wrong. This is just the beginning of a series of mishaps which I hope I can survive forget our dear leads. It was thrilling indeed with more to come.

You talk about - Being Framed. At this time more than facts everbody is riding on emotions of anger, hurt ,disappointment and ego . If these were to be stripped all false notions would vanish and plain simple truth will emerge.
yes.. hard as it may seem.. the leads..even dhani too my disappointment is showing ego agro..
Viplav is hurt that Dhaani did not tell him before taking this decision . she had put her hand in his as a promise. She always likes to be Mahaan and do things her way . He is unwilling to hear any defense from her. And Dhaani the self respecting women immediately takes an egoistical stance of - "if this is what you think of me then let it be" . A lovers tiff that both Dadi & RL in their own way wish to resolve . Like you for me too this was the best part of today . Atleast each have a well wisher in their respective camp who is smart enough to show them the way .
this is the treachery.. dhani did try to contact him.. but kanak puts both vips and his phone to sleep.. its a good thing..rajlaxmi tells dhani ..use your brain to sort this one
DT in my opinion has understood that this entire game has been planned by Kanak. He always has been very intuitive about her actions. He chose to keep silent coz he was getting what he wants. He saw Vip & Dhani argue and maybe breakup as time goes. He continues his act of being a well wisher with Vip while Kanak gloats at the success of her plan.
yes.. mind you he must hate kanak .. for overstepping him,but funnily enough is doing exactly what ,like you say doing what he wants.. he never get's his hands soiled.. its other he inadvertently designates to do his dirty work..
My biggest peeve for today was Suv. How can she even think that Trip can be reformed ? where did she see him repent ? Did she not see his misappropriatness in touching Dhaani ? She is so blind to everything ? This concept of "Mera pati devta hai" that traditional 18th century Indian women mentality has to go . No self respecting women should put herself thru this. Viplav was able to understand this but nor her. Just felt very angry at the thought that women at times are the cause of their own misery. She too is framed and trapped in this falsehood of a happily every after . well pointed out suvarna in cuckoo land.. but this is it she'd rather be stabbed,buried,and the rest , than be condemned to a life of widow hood..its what trips plays on.. too bad she'll end up being a widow for the second time..were he to be done for x2 murder..
Now the million dollar question is - with the upcoming chaos - What do we expect of Viplav ? Does he use his smartness or turn dumb. Is Dhaani going to turn into a Joan of Arc ? She did say to RL that we need to get to the bottom of this . Only time will tell.
ideally , I would like both to realize dhani has been set up and then together they seek the culprit.. but most of all want to sharpen his listening skills

For Suwarna..we know she is blind by love. But how can Viplav remember that Trip stabbed Su. And forget that he himself helped her in getting married to Trip. After all ..it is this mistake which made Suwarna very loyal to Trip as his wife.

vips helped suvarna because he liked dhani.. and he also knew that dhani was being coerced into marrying trips.. I think..suvarna is a woman who'd rather suffer at the hands of a low life like tripurari.. then be condemned to being a widow.. its an ultimate cursed state to be in.. hence she wants to be blinded to the vices of her husband.. awida super to see you ,keep well.. much love hammie
