OMG: Viplav hugged Dhani - Page 2

Possibly the best IKRS epi till date...MR was some next level of charisma as Viplav today...every shade done just so right...his love and concern for Dhaani has an innocence about it that MR brought out sooo beautifully...the hug was fab...and I'm glad they didn't show an OTT reaction from Dhaani like pushing him away or freezing up...the very fact that she just let him hug her for as long as he needed to said a lot...if that Kaaki hadn't interrupted, Viplav would have blurted out his subconscious feelings then only...and I'm so glad they showed it so naturally.


The bit right after the hug when they come back to the room and she's about to leave to go get something to eat and again he holds her hand...not a single dialogue from him but his eyes said SO much...MR...Viplav's worry for Dhaani has such a child like endearing quality to it..."aur agar tumhein kuch ho jaata toh?"


It wasn't some OTT realization...I loved how it came about in such a relaxed manner almost...Viplav watching her all smitten and then just sighing and admitting the obvious to himself.


Viplav was wayyy too adorable in this epi...the way he was watching Dhaani just said so much...


But I anticipate problems coming up for them soon enough...Dhaani is going to freeze up again when he confesses to her I think. ...and I wouldn't mind if he doesn't tell her for a while but then Viplav is hardly the kind to keep anything within himself...lol

I personally enjoyed today's episode, definetly one of my favorite so far of the show.
Viplav was almost confessing to Dhaani.. "main itna". And then he confessed to himself: 'Viplav Tripurai, tum Dhaani se pyaar hogya'. . Good he didn't confess it to Dadaji yet. But the way he was smiling and blushing. Mishal killed this episode.

yes mishal was superb. The hug so loving and his expressions were awesome.
Viplav was like a teenager enjoying the fact that he was in love and wanted to scream and tell the whole world that he was in love

Wonderful post, well said. The realisation wasn't like out of nowhere but very realistic! Loved the way cvs made Viplav realise his love like this. What n awesome episode!👏

@Areyaar, I agree with you. It's was so beautiful and the realization came very natural and not overdrama. This is how the 1st promo look liked. A love, where the hero slowly and naturally falls for a widow. Without any high drama involved.

Yes, it was done beautifully...the way he was watching her and just refusing to let her go...silently shaking his head to convey that he needs her to stay...and I liked how they didn't show Dhaani over-reacting but trying to explain to him gently to let her go almost cajoling him like he's a baccha...that this came immediately in the aftermath of him somewhat still reeling over the intensity of his frantic worry for her and the hug just added to it all...like it showed how he was still processing his feelings.


It was a very well done realization...there is also this moment right after their hug gets interrupted by the Kaaki and she maaroes that line about how they both love each other...the way Viplav is watching Dhaani there too is such an adorable smitten look...MR and his talent still manages to astound me after all this time😆


Even the simple bit with them eating the apples together had something endearing about it for the way Viplav was smiling at her...oh that reminds me, Dhaani's smile and laughter was really sweet in the first scene too when she is feeding him.

Yes, they've done a good job of evolving Viplav-Dhaani's dynamic and Viplav's realization...their feelings had subconsciously grown so strongly since a while...even during the MU phase, they were both hurting over the harsh words they said to each other and felt let down by each other precisely cuz they had already invested that much in each other.

There's an innocence about their bond that MR-Eisha bring out very nicely.

And how far have Viplav-Dhaani come from the time Dhaani used to act prickly over him even holding her hand and now they don't even feel the need to talk about or dissect a full on hug b/w them...they take each other's intense concern for each other as a given...and it says a lot that they don't feel the need to question that right they feel over each other.

@Baki: Yes, very true...the show finally seems to have found it's rhythm after many months of drag and melodrama😆...that is why I had to quit in b/w cuz they weren't capitalizing on the core character development b/w Viplav-Dhaani in those early days...but now they are in a good space.


New OLV suggests that VD are still busy staying at Kaaki's...lol good I say keep them there for a few weeks...this is a much needed reprieve away from the other melodramatic characters...Kaaki toh is a full on fangirl...pops in every two minutes to praise their love for each other😆

@tarun - yes thus is how IKRS should be . Understated and simple yet heartfelt .

The few weeks of MU was a frustrating period as first it was illigical and one sided . Made Dhaani look very stupid . The Dulaari crap was intolerable.

Any ways for the next one week I won't mind them being hidden in this house coz we all know the next big drama has to arrive soon.
