It's commonly accepted that a daughter is a mother's best friend. But a mother and daughter's relationship can fray if the daughters choice of life partner is contrary to the mother's choice. Within our culture daughters give in to the wishes of a parent in a vulnerable situation. Thus Dhani does when she submits to the demands of her mother into marrying a man of her mother's choice. Yet due to divine intervention the tables turn and Dhani's mother Dulari's wishes dash. Perhaps as the daughter Dhani is unaware of the tremendous jolt her mother suffers.This can be due to the fact that Dhani within herself momentarily enjoys a melt- down between her and Viplav. But then looks like someone has executed a stir between mother and daughter again. Dhani's mother uses the wisdom allotted upon her within her role to prove her daughters lack of sane vision. The file with Viplav's name as the pater of Suvarna's child, backed with the entire tale of Tripurari 's deeds verbatim 's mouth now appears reversed and pinned on Viplav. For Dhani it's yet another instance in life where this stoic young widow has to reach a fairly difficult decision, which may very well implicate that she insinuates at her mother's gullibility and Tripurari's skill of manipulation.
Dhani thus challenges her mother bravely. Fights off all the insults her mother hurls at Viplav and her friendship. Dhani realizes that ,in his absence she has to hear her mother term him as a sinful, womaniser a murder. All this and the hospital register plus the mention of the name Tripurari, is enough to open Dhani's eyes as to who is the man responsible for planting malice against Viplav in her mother's heart. All the lessons that Viplav delivered to her about sticking to her guns and putting up a fight for what is right! come into play as she poses her mother with the pivotal question what makes her believe that Tripurari is right in what he claims? This scene also illustrates how Dhani fervently stands up for Viplav being right.
Like Dhani said to her mother , all will be revealed.. so it is .. as expected a livid Tripurari barges into his room and into his wife Suvarna! We predicted as viewers he will rough her up and abuse her physically and emotionally. So like a typical abuser he picks the moment when he would be alone with her.. his mother her virtual body guard against him is out, as he scoffs in her face and mock her to yell for help! as he will surely throttle her with his bare hand for fouling his plan.. but nick of time it's Dhani .. now like Viplav who comes to salvage this vulnerable woman from the hands of this over clever beast man ! Dhani slaps him across the face and he lets go off Suvarna's neck! Tripurari turns to see the white brigade..headed by Dhani.. who mouths off a clear warning ,he daren't touch her again or else the police will be informed and he'll go down for wife battering! Suvarna runs to Inderani for refuge and Dulari shouts, your truth is exposed now! thank god she didn't marry her daughter off to him.. but then. once a liar always a crook tries once more to manipulate this gullible Dulari.. but she gives him another big jolt as she yells for the doctor , whose one look at her takes the wind out of Tripurari's sails! Dhani's perseverance in her mother's love, her uplift from viplav's belief in her, triggers her on to confront the abuser! Tripurari suffers a set back is given a clear message to back off from his bullying tactics as Suvarna is not alone..her family back her fully so he'd better not lay a finger on Suvarna! threatens Inderani. Well the widows now seems to be a powerful fist aimed at Tripurari's face..just like Viplav had advised them to do so in a crisis situation. Unite and fight to protect each other! Realizations occur. Suvarna apologizes to Inderani for putting them in such a predicament, but Indrani as always encourages, prowess in the young ones in her fold..here she tells Suvarna to be strong and continue to stand up for her rights!
When an unknown danger averts, the heart softens towards remorse at follies committed. So confesses Dulari that Viplav too most certainly deserves an apology from her in particular, as she is guilty of slurring him! besides a man who saved a destitute woman from a man like Tripurari cannot be a sinner? and Dulari apologizes to her daughter.. admits Dhani was right in assessing Viplav ,while Dulari misjudged his intentions! But Dhani says she needed to apologize too him as well. He was a well wisher but she doubted his intentions!
Little does Dashrant realize that the sudden onslaught of his serious illness serves as sweetly validated reason and an unavoidable need for Viplav and Dhani to meet each other.
While his dada ji sleeps in his room Viplav stands before the altar area provided in the hospital... suddenly Dhani slips in from behind him and stands beside him before. He prays for his grandfather's life , and she wants her god to lessen Viplav's anxiety but having her there beside him certainly gratifies his being.. He mutters you're right now it's god who will have to make him better..dada ji spent his whole life serving him! Now he will have to rebuild my dada ji.. Viplav watches Dhani as she returns with the aarti plate and tells him her mother believes the aarti light galvanizes the lightof one's life. She applies tilak on his forehead and offers him the plate to perform aarti .Viplav looks directly in to the eyes of the deity and circulates the wicks of light around with prayers of longevity for his dadaji's life. Dashrant lies asleep in the hospital..while Viplav circulates the aarti plate , Tripurari enters Dashrant's room with the intent to end his life by suffocating him with a pillow.. More or less a similar scene where Bijli attempts to smother Suvarna to death.. There too Viplav , so to speak, saves the situation. Here too Viplav's aarti so to speak, saves his dadaj's life , rather reveals the further truth about things to come. Dashrant only slaps Tripurari's wrist and reminds him due to his own stupidity the marriage would have gone ahead if Suvarna had arrived a day later. For Dhani who alongside Viplav performs aarti for his life , Dashrant yet again, uses Tripurari to do his dirty deed of doing away with Dhani for good! and offers his complete support in the act to Tripurari . Dasharant is aware that Tripurari smarts as it is, due to defeat at Dhani's hand, his strike against her will be potent! Hence despite all that goes through, this corrupt father and son stand unchangeable in their motives. While the wicked duo pair tries desperate to divide the friends..By gods will, the friends veer closer to each other..
Sense of vulnerability lulls these two people into short bursts of shared support. Viplav wants a straight answer from Dhani as to why this sudden support for him? she replies, feels only too right, as he's done so much for them, saved hers and Suvarna's lives.. so the least she can do is stand by him.Viplav confesses his own weakness and anxiety in dealing with dad ji's illness on his own. This laying bare his inner self to her indicates the comfort level that steadily rises between them. Suddenly some issues clarify as Viplav points out to Dhani that, which caused a serious division between them, the Ashram papers. He believes that apart from Lala ,it perhaps seems evident that Tripurari too had a hand in it .dhani gives it a thought.. but is confused why would Tripurari save her life? Viplav explains ,to impress her enough to win her trust so he can marry her. Dhani does give it a thought but, ensures that both her and Viplav harbour no malice against Tripurari , since he is Durga maa's son and Suvarna's husband. Dhani spills her tea on herself and now he has the chance to show his care for her. Viplav in this bonding scene suddenly pops up the question what was the reason she actually ceased to even speak to him? There was a misunderstanding which drove him mad! .. Dhani has the choice to tell it's Dashrant but she refrains and instead tenders an apology for grossly misunderstanding him.. both Dhani and Viplav two people Dashrant wants divided for life, look in on him . Viplav offers to drop her home. Tripurari sees them together and his anger is roused ,to provide further twists in story.
This was coming Durga confronting her son. he fibs compulsively before her, assures her that Guru dev will forgive him as soon as he comes home. But she clarifies she will not change her opinion over his heinous deeds, he has betrayed her trust, and warns him against harming Suvarna as she protects her. Looks like Tripurari is getting his punishment from all sides.
Dhani returns home.. a change has occurred, her mother is calm, maha Guru's welfare is enquired about? also if Viplav was ok? Dhani replies yes, briefly ,all due to the triumph of part truth!
Tripurari ,no rest for the wicked. Tripurari sets up arranging Viplav's killing. It's Suvarna who falls for the trap! rings Dhani and warns her Viplav's life's is in danger!. Dhani has a knee jerk reaction and runs from the Ashram to save his life! gets to the venue where Viplav is planned to be killed..
overall a fairly good episode,dulari has a very swift transformation.. seems in credible.. some things remain the same dashrant's anti dhani sentiment, and tripurari continues to be dashrant's , loyal pet canine !viplav dhani scenes were credible.. people need support in crisis situation .. Viplav the needy man, Dhani the caring maternal woman.. Hamlet53 12.5.15
Precap: Tripurari mugs Suvarna tells her his phone call was a trap! thanks for being useful ,ties her to the chair; tells her to sit and wait while he sort a job! Dhani helps an old lady who leads dhani to a van, pushed in and driven off by Tripurari .. Dulari meets Viplav in hospital tells him his daughter has gone is missing! he says his phone's batteries is dead..
