Viplav is a curiously unpredictable case

Today's epi forces me to conclude this😆

While his self-entitled, arrogant brat ways have been established since the first episode itself, today we got to see more shades to him and some of them were surprising:

1) When the Inspector informs him of the Dhani controversy, he smirks as he watches the inspector bow before him, fawn over him and his family name...when he almost as an afterthought seems to inquire of Dhani's plight and is told that she will be arrested and put in jail, his smirk only widens😆

2) Out of the blue he shows up at the police station and so matter of factly accepts the blame for the incident😆...now the surprising bit to me here is that when they show such clashes b/w the two leads in a show, usually there is a diabolical/manipulative reason for someone stepping in and owning up...some long term plan to trick or win over someone's favor/goodwill...but Viplav ji seems beyond such games😆...guess cuz they require EFFORT...

More surprising though is this belated little sliver of integrity he shows after all😆...It was a game of one upmanship and "jokes" in his eyes but he saw it went too far and decided to step in and resolve it...but ofcourse expecting her to accept his benevolence and wrap up the issue there and then...lol I found it amusing how he ignored the fawning Inspector and chose to walk over to her and Vidhwa sammelan directly and address them😆

He would have walked out coolly not even DEMANDING a thank you from her...again something I found refreshing...he genuinely DIDN'T have an AGENDA😆...most characters would...he was ok with doing his bit and walking out but ofcourse how can Dhani let him go without a lecture on DHARAM😆

3) I have to say I found his reactions to her lecture damn amusing today...the eyerolls, literally asking her to stop doing dialogue-baazi like a heroine😆...asking her what her problem is😆...so matter of factly he says all this...even after everything, he's basically just EXASPERATED with her more than feeling super vengeful.

Dhaani was being too screechy in this scene...Eisha really needs to do something about her pitch level in angry outburst/emotional scenes...goes to some decibel level beyond my comprehension😕😕

3) Scene stealer of this bit was Indrani with her dhaansu telling off of Viplav😆...I loved watching these two actors in one frame firstly...powerful both of them...and Viplav's smirks and eyerolls in reaction to the moralistic dialogues ...then suddenly tapering off when she manages to hit a nerve...nicely done bit...

4) Watching a bit of Viplav's interaction with his father also seemed strange...his father calling him Tripathi ji...him being dismissive of his father...hope there's some worthwhile backstory there.

5) Daadi and Dhani both seem to magically find their spines only around Viplav😆...the way she was twisting his ear today to make him realize he needs to apologize...I was like where is this Daadi around the Daada and the rest of the household?😕😆

Poor MR kya banaa diya uska in that scene😆...sister is just being used a filler right now...this poor actress gets the short end of the straw in every show.

6) The LAST thing I expected Viplav to be doing was going around talking to Ganga maiyya and random cows😆...His half-hearted attempts to get the apology done with and finding loopholes...lol...I really burst out laughing when he's matter of factly telling the river, sky and God as witness..."Please take note"😆...Kya cheez hai yeh bandaa😆...every few seconds he'd almost be giving up, then he'd try again then again make excuses to himself...cartoon😆

7) Ishq ka rang SAFED...unintentional payback from Dhaani...he colored her red, so she colored him WHITE🤣...waah waah SYMBOLISM😆

How is this bandaa so randomly cheerful?😆...Just shows up in front of her with a cheerful HI each time😆...chaahe police station ho ya mandir...HI is a must😆...situation no bar. He's a weird one but why does it feel like there is something simmering to flip a switch inside him...or is that all just MR's acting adding to this...mystery😆...

AY, wow!!! you are here...I am a "Silent" stalker in the AT from KY2. I was just browsing the channels and stumbled upon the police station scene today. the guy seemed nice and had a flair with dialogue delivery and ended up watching the entire episode.
then I just came here to see when this serial started and is it worth following and voila I see your post. this is enough for me to follow this if you are here.
I am slayed every time you analyze KY2 and am sure to have some worthy read here too.
thanks!!!!

So just to illustrate my point further, MR brings a kind of intensity even to this boyish, brattish Viplav...he is essentially a spoilt brat but MR adds a strange kind of gravitas to him...he can't wish away his commanding body language no matter what...lol...this is technically not Dutta ruling over Patilwadi yet the EFFECT invariably ends up being the same...a King in his Kingdom...lol and that is why I laughed when they put in that dialogue about him proclaiming in exasperation ki "Haan hoon main BHAGWAAN yahaan ka...kya kar logi?" lol

That is why the unpredictable shades too...he's got a razor sharp edge and intensity in his eyes one minute, then he becomes goofy, arrogant brat again...like this bit for example:

One second he's giving all these serious, dangerous looks and next second he's goofing off smiling...lol funny thing is he's not even one of those typical "twisted" characters that you could write this off on that basis

He's just strange kind of charm in all shades

This bit really cracked me up for how he was almost BRACED for the INEVITABILITY of the LECTURE coming his way😆

And then the way his expressions transition from whatever to W*F😆

My fav. bit though has to be this😆...He just can't wrap his head around the amount of moral lectures he's being subjected to😆

And this transition...all she does is slightly brush past him, maybe jostle him a bit while brushing past and it GETS to him...I loved how he did this transition...the way his eyes change

And then back to anger again...lol

Viplav baba lives in a different World mentally. Where he is morally answerable to his dadi. Trys to keep himself clear from dadaji's path, takes care not to be caught. It seems he is the only child in his family & rest are all grown ups.
The child in him make him different. Keeping River, air etc as witness, bowing to Cow shows how much he cares for dadi's feelings.
So bahuji goes saj dhaj ke with Bauji to take account of chadhava. Bauji gives her kangan, saying wishes should be fulfilled. He is concerned about receiving less chadhava from 11 or 12 temples. That means he owes these temples. No wonder he is considered so powerful. People's faith in dharma is reducing, thats what he considers the reason of less income. I am happy this aspect of converting Religion in business is covered here.
Am I the only one who feels his LTL scenes are repeated. Yesterday driving jeep, recollecting dhani's words, coming home drunk & talking in sleep what he did to that girl etc. May be makers want to tell viewers, we will keep on reminding you he was datta. 😆
