IDK - but I sort of saw that in him.. he was never consistent to me. He would become destructive for his own set of beliefs. If it weren't for others like Savitri, Karthik or even Rhea lecture him, he could easily go off path. He is not a strong character for me.

Ishqi is stronger and we know she is perceptive and also has the courage to withstand things. Ahaan, I feel needs guidance from others. He is a bit too sheltered.

What I don't like about itv is that in the name of making the woman seem all great/goddess like they have to destroy the male lead. I personally find that to be deterring. As a feminist I want to see the FLs flaws like they tried to show with Ishqi. She always put others first at the cost of her own well being and those close to her (Maasi was equally affected by the sacrifice she made for Sonu as was Ahaan for the sacrifice she made for Savitri by signing the divorce papers in her plan to bring Dadi's truth out in the open).

I think Ahaan was more perceptive than Ishqi. Ahaan changed his views when he heard different opinion from Kartik, Rhea ot Savitri. It was not guidance per say, it was another POV which clicked with him and he changed his thinking/opinion based on new POVs and evidence. Ishqi was more strong and rigid with her thinking. We agree with her about everything as it was more liberal views like most of us. But in terms of judging and perceptive nature, Ishqi is more judging and Ahaan more perceptive (I am refering judging and perceptive in context of MBTI personality).

Ishqi is stronger emotionally and rigid whereas Ahaan is weaker emotionally and flexible. Both has equal pros and cons. With people like Ishqi, it is impossible to make them realize that they made a mistake. They do not accept it so they dont improve. With people like Ahaan they change when something better comes up but there is also possiblity that they may change for worse.
