"The best part about my work is that in front of camera, you have to be more truthful than you can be in real life. You feel that for a certain period of time, you have to be so truthful and honest about what you feel, and how you want to behave because nobody will judge you. Also, sometimes, you are not you for a period of time and it gives you a sense of not belonging and not having that ego that I am some identity or something. I feel acting, or any art, takes you away from self, and sometimes brings you closer to yourself, so I think it is a very spiritual thing. I feel it is always on the move, you meet people, and you are doing different things. It is a feeling that I am not able to articulate and express, but when you feel it, you feel alive.''
This is so deep.
I never thought actign in that light. Mostly we think actign is pretence and what we do in real life is honest and reality. But even in real life, we most of the time hide feelings, opinions and behave as per social norms, be is simple thing like dressign according to occasion even if we don't feel like. But as a character maybe actors needs to show true emotions of that character all the time as characters wont be afraid of judgign them or havign real impact once actor comes out of character.
Ye Param sach me itna mature hai?😲😆
I need to think more about these line. Thought provoking for me.

Great drama is supposed to have a strong element of catharsis where we audience members can feel & release strong emotions. And here Param has the explained so beautifully the cathartic effect on the actor. I had not realised this, just had a vague idea this might be a ‘thing’ but now totally get it!
this boy!! ⭐️
