Param Singh has been a part of the industry for a really long time now and the actor has done some great work so far. Currently seen in Ishk Par Zor Nahi, the actor plays the role of Ahaan and it co-stars Akshita Mudgal in the lead role. Param spoke to India Forums on the best part about acting, the thought process about taking up shows, and something he is looking forward to doing.
Ask him what would he say is the best part about acting and he said, ''The best part about my work is that in front of camera, you have to be more truthful than you can be in real life. You feel that for a certain period of time, you have to be so truthful and honest about what you feel, and how you want to behave because nobody will judge you. Also, sometimes, you are not you for a period of time and it gives you a sense of not belonging and not having that ego that I am some identity or something. I feel acting, or any art, takes you away from self, and sometimes brings you closer to yourself, so I think it is a very spiritual thing. I feel it is always on the move, you meet people, and you are doing different things. It is a feeling that I am not able to articulate and express, but when you feel it, you feel alive.''
About what is the thought process behind selecting any show, he reveals, ''The thought process is simple, behind making it, where is it being telecast, what is your character - the team and your character basically.''
Whether there is a particular character/story that he really wants to be a part of, he says, ''There are a lot of stories and projects and characters that I have seen, which I thought I would have loved to be a part of it, a lot of them actually - I have seen Joker and a lot of films. When I saw Kabir Singh, I also thought it is so nice to play such a character. There are a lot of things that have made me feel 'I want this'.''
