I am loving this show and the leads - though it is far from perfect or flawless. But I adore the main characters and the story thus far. It is understandable that Ahaan & Ishqi have a different approach on various issues simply because they are a product of their circumstances, however at the end of the day they share the same core values. And that is why they have that inherent attraction or as they say in hi-fi English "chemistry". They are soulmates so to speak.
Anyway, I think Ahaan is now in the same realization boat of feelings as Ishqi was after Holi; in fact even more. He had suppressed everything initially, but with Ishqi's candid drunken confessions, he is now aware the feelings are very much real, and that it is likely a two-way street. I also like that Ahaan is being shown to be the first to understand and accept his feelings rather Ishqi - it goes with his character considering he is far more mature and observant.
There were a few moments I enjoyed from the past week:
1) Look of guilt / "caught in the act" by Ahaan in front of Sarla, Ginny and Rhea by poolside. Usually he would be stoic or would have an explanation like all other times: mehndi, baba-ji, wardrobe malfunction etc, but this time he was quiet and his facial expression was worth a thousand words. Mainly because he knew in his heart that whatever people were assuming has some truth and for once he was at a loss of words. Rhea bailed him out unknowingly but you could see the guilt on his face.
2) He got teary eyed at: (a) Ishqi saying he is embarrassed to be around her during the drunk speech - he was hurt for her because Ahaan did what he did so no one would think he is doing out of his feelings rather just helping because of Mayank since it is weird to be so involved in your friend's fiancé's life. And he kind of wished Ishqi knew he is not the type to be embarrassed since he does not have some inferiority complex especially considering the circumstances he grew up in (the mother ran away bla bla 'taana'). (b) Other hurt passed when he saw her talking to Sarla about how she is not that bad a person but different and from a different social class but it doesn't make her any less of a person - further when she added on how S&G can insult her as much as long as not to hurt Sonu (who clearly is ill-equipped to handle any situation).
3) The look of anger at S&G for telling Ishqi how low she can go - for first time I think he was upset at how society is so judgmental of a girl considering all he got was how modern of a bro-in-law he is. Ahaan understands the society's hypocrisy but at the same time due to his childhood submits to it - but this was one of the few instances where he actually did not like or agree with that comment.
4) The look of disappointment that Ishqi doesn't remember LOL. I don't need to say more but the poor guy is throwing hints all around so she remembers.
The rest of the moments were already discussed so I won't repeat. Also the hug thing where Ahaan is all sanskari and keeps his hands at bay... the poolside instance where the almost kiss happened (before chappar chappar), he definitely had his arms and hands around Ishqi - had it not been for that voice of reason in his head that is always there, the moment would have happened. And Ahaan is well aware of this fact. Of course he wouldn't let himself simply because he would never take advantage of any girl especially the one he cares about so much.
