Yeah he may not want Ishqi-Mayank's wedding to be called off but he wants ahaan to face the truth about these feelings.

Ishqi requesting Sarla ji to treat Sonu good , even at cost of her own mockery. I felt that.

Ahaan must have felt so good that Ishqi cares for his sister so much

Ahaan not picking Rhea's call and giving Ishqi her moment was so beautiful and poignant. That too for a guy like Ahaan who is all about family values, society and plans each and everything. He knew this was very wrong, he was hugging a girl getting married to his bestie. Goes to show how much she has come to mean to him. Probably he too just wanted to hold her and be in the moment, thinking he may never get to feel like this again.

I like this pov and mostly agree with it😆👍🏼

But it just bothers me that he is trying to setup Ahaan with a girl who is getting married in 2 days that too to his bestie. Knowing Ahaan he wouldn't go out and stop the marriage, I mean in real life probably it would just end up in a heartbreak

Though Somewhere I also feel he is also enjoying the fact that his bro fell for a girl who is opposite to what Ahaan wanted. Karthik is a feminist and Ahan and him regularly argue regarding women. He also seems to enjoy how the strict Ahaan has to act according to ishqi's wishes🤣🤣
