Missing: Anupam Kher

Zee TV's Cinestars Ki Khoj judge Anupam Kher has been playing truant for the last few days. Apparently, the actor had a heated argument with one of the contestants, after which he decided to quit the show. A source in the production house says, "Anupamji has not been reporting to the sets since Saturday without informing us. We've heard that he's shooting in China, but shouldn't he have told us that in advance? We are in a complete mess. As a judge, Anupamji would often be strict with the contestants. Sometimes, he would even pass rude remarks about their performances." Another source says, "Anupamji had some problem with the production house too. But now they are trying their best to convince him to return on the show. They are also working out temporary measures to solve the problem by inviting a new celebrity on the show."

Sanjeev Sharma, executive chairman of the production house, Optymistix, said, "I think he was annoyed with one of the contestants. Maybe he actually had an issue and therefore has not shown up for the past few days. We are trying to get in touch with him. He is an integral part of our show, but at the same time it's not the end of the world." So, why are they trying to get him back on the show? Sanjeev added, "I think it is a passing phase and the problem can be solved. He is a good friend and maybe he was too worked up that day. As far as I know, he had no problem with the production house." Anupam Kher was not available for comment.

its sad when such respected people in the industry can act like such brats at times. they need to get off their high horse and not act like the bullies that they are.

after watching these celebrities as being judges i begin to lose respect for almost half of them.

I HATE THE JUDGES THEY JUST VOTE OUT THE PEOPLE WHO THEY DON'T LIKE INSTEAD OF THE PEOPLE WHICH ARE LESS TALENTED!!!!!!!!! 😭

if anyone wants to see how to make a mess of a great show, just watch this show and the management behind it 🤢 terrible... anupam has managed to get himself off this crap, but i feel sorry for pooja and madhur who must have thought at the start that they are being a part of something that will be hugely popluar like srgmp or indian idol, but ended up being wat it is now😆 and now they are caught in "no man's land"😆 neither can they quit this ordeal, nor can they enjoy it...

Most likely this article is true as they have a quote from the Producer but maybe the seriousness of it is exaggerated. It may not be out of anger, but of something else, as Anupamji is shown to be quite professional in whatever he does.

I'll just pray and hope that he's there !! 😊

I dont like any of the judges, i have seen a couple of episodes and they treat the contestants like rubbish, i mean they are not professional actors or actresses they need to be easy on them 😡 and explain what they are doing wrong instead of passing such rude comments i just dislike them all and yep they've totally ruined the show by adding such judges, i saw nach baliya and saragamapa but i didnt act as low as these lot!!!

Ok on one hand Anupam Kher is yelling at the contestant to act professional and not think they are stars already, but is he acting profession, if he leaves without telling the the production house??? 😕 ... I think he is mature, and if he got into an argument he should talk to the person, not walk away like that .... ... thanks for sharing the article tho😊
