Directors Take Note

It really is so disappointing to see the second season of Zee Cinestars - infact I hate to call it the second season, as it has not even the meakest shadows of that splendid show that we all used to love... I have been watching this show week after week, just in the hope to find some of that lost magic return back... But just nothing happens on this show - it is heading only downwards...

The problem with the show is not the contestants or the judges - it lies with the director and the people involved in its production, not to forget Zee management... What a mess they have made of a show that could have spurred their TRPs to a new high... It is pathetic... Your biggest mistake has been to let go of the one man who has mattered most in all your channel's success - Mr. Gajendra Singh... You simply rob the concept off the brain behind it, and make a complete mockery of the show by giving it to someone who is best away from it... The same happened with Antakshari - wat a shame u have made with a show that has run for 14 years... As they say, "Nakal Ke Liye Bhi Akal Ki Zaroorat Hoti Hai"... This new director (I dont know his name) seems to have no idea of what he is doing... You see everything from absurd cuts, wrong camera positions, in all - a very very "thanda" direction... And then you blame it all on the contestants - that they lack energy... Good Lord!!! That choreographer of yours comes on stage and blames it on contestants that they dont pay attention to wat he teaches - I say THANK GOD they dont!! Their choreography literally sucks... The same steps repeated week after week, contestant after contestant... I am myself tired of watching that routine dance performances, wat do you expect of those contestants - how on earth wud they put energy into those idiotic dance steps...

You have to understand - just creating controversy, or having judges scold contestants in public wont get your show anywhere... Suddenly u see one fine day, Anupam Kher giving 1s and 2s to every contestant - I did not see any diufference in their performance from last week, and if the same man gave them 9s and 10s then, he must have some problem with his judging that he is giving these grades now... Pooja Bhatt has no mind of her own... Uncle Kher told her to revise her scores and the baby gal started giving 2s 3s herself... Only bright side is Madhur who doesnt react such weirdly and seems composed...

Now this is wat a good director can mean to a show... If anyone lacks energy and commitment, it is the director of this sickening show... I hope the junta doesnt vote for anyone whatsoever and let the TRPs of this show be a slap on the faces of such disgusting direction and production...

You're right! I agree that janta should stop voting so the directors realize what a complete mess they've made of this show.

The reason of Anupam Kher and the rest of the judges giving such low scores now is to push the contestants to work harder. u can tell not all the contestants are really putting their all into their performances. I have to agree with the fact that Anupam Kher said. They are getting so much..so many pple helping them and it's really not showing. I think it's a wise think that the judging has become more stricter..only then can a "good" actor come out of the show..think of it logically...this is EXACTLY how the bollywood industry it...u just gotta suck it up and deal with it and just do better instead of complaining and blaming the director the producers or whoever..otherwise we're gonna end up sucky actors who just want to blame the rest of the world and not do anything about it

If you tell me that Anupam's reactions were justified, I would refuse to believe so... Gosh!! Coming from a man who has been through all this himself,and has been there for i don know how many decades, its a shame... Its ok to scold them, or tell them they are not up to the mark, but the way you do it is important... You cant humiliate them like this... He asks Adil to laugh the way he did in the scene, the man literally got up to hit Adil when he was taking his hand back 🤢 Did Adil say he had a backache😕 No... Its clear, Anupam's mind was somewhere else... or he has some other scores to settle... Then he ridicules Rahul for coming to his office 🤢 Shameful...
