This venue hasn't seen many high-scoring games in IPL 2023, so it wouldn't be a surprise if the trend continues even in this match. The Capitals were beaten at the Chinnaswamy by the Challengers in the reverse fixture, so Warner and his boys will be looking forward to give it back to the Challengers at in their backyard. A win for RCB will take them into the top four, while a win for Delhi will help them get off that final position in the table and move to number 7. Can expect a few changes in Delhi's playing XI given their inconsistent and lacklustre performances this season, but what those changes are going to be? The Delhi Capitals will lock horns with Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi tonight. For the Challengers, captain du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell have done bulk of the scoring this season. Meanwhile, for the Capitals, Warner and Axar have done most of the run scoring. Mitchell Marsh and Phillip Salt had a good partnership in one of the games, but apart from that, there's nothing to talk about, especially about the Capitals' batting. Even captain Warner has seen a dip in his form over the last few games, so things don't look all that good for Delhi, who find themselves languishing at the bottom of the points table.

Pitch report: The pitches are normally dry at this venue, hence we don't see too many high scores here. The average score at this venue is 165. This pitch is dry and has got a few cracks in it, that's the reason why bowlers fancy their chances as well. The fast bowlers have taken 29 wickets here, while the spinners have picked 22 wickets. Josh Hazlewood: Fortunately, I had to bowl just three overs in the last game on a wicket that was tough to bat. Body hasn’t been too bad, good to get back out there. Game time is crucial, very excited for tonight. I had a conscious effort two years ago to get back to T20 wicket, played a few games in the BBL and that’s led to this and led to the last two World Cups. Quite confident now with my skill set. (On the LSG win) It was hugely important, nice to tick off all bases now with our bowling group now. We strangled them and took early wickets because we knew it would be hard work for the batters. Everyone is quite confident with their skills, and everyone’s skills are a little different, so that’s exciting.

Manish Pandey: Has been a modest season so far. As a batting group we have been talking about this. We want to put up better performances and I think it's happening slowly. Personally, when I am batting at number 4 or number 5, there are times where I would like to be in a better situation, but unfortunately it has not happened as much I expected. We have five more games to go and as a batting unit we want to make a bigger impact, our bowlers have given us even cushion. If we are able to win a few games from here, maybe five out of five, we have a good chance of qualifying and as a team we want to do that. I would like to take that confidence from that last game we played against RCB.

Afeef: "I heard Anrich Nortje has flown back to South Africa for personal reasons. Big blow for DC. But this could be a chance for Ngidi to slot in." Yup, Nortje and Mustafizur are both unavailable, with Nortje leaving for personal reasons and Mustafizur joining the Bangladesh squad for the three-match ODI series against Ireland.
