Knowing CSK it would have been a difficult decision to let go of Faf who has been around for over a decade with CSK specially with MS as he was also in RPS.

But I trust MS and CSK ka management unko 2018 mein bhi gaaliya padi thi and people said a lot of things but CSK has won twice and lost once from 1 run in last 4 seasons.

So I know whatever they are doing they would thinking a lot when they let go of Faf and paid 14 Cr for Chahar which isn't like CSK as they never let their players leave so easily and have never brought such a costly player in Auction but they would have planned it strategically.

CSK never goes behind big names rather they make big names and we have seen CSK and even MI grooming their players and making them come out as such a strong player.

CSK is planning for its future & people can think they have 35+ players but I know this team is the future planning when MS won't be in playing 11.

So whoever have been following CSK and love them trust them as they have never disappointed us earlier nor will disappoint in future.

I as a CSK fan is unhappy seeing Faf won't be in yellow jersey but as his fan I feel RCB gave him captaincy that's why CSK didn't faught for him and wanted better for his individual growth.

Even after I want CSK to win I hope Faf brings luck to RCB and not get destroyed like Macullum who was star player of CSK but after going to RCB his career doomed.

Also I think CSK will try getting back Raina and Tahir for lower prices.

So luck to Faf and CSK

Good morning everyone!

This is the first time I have watched an IPL auction and it looked surreal. This is a mixture of pure relentlessness, strategy, madness and stupidity.

I felt bad for players who did not get picked up.

They (owners) need to look for consistency. It looks like majority were picked on the basis of how they performed in the last instalment of IPL and may be last year's performance.

As a fan, all I am looking forward to is, competitive matches, not one sided matches.

Hopefully we will get to see more last ball wins and last over wins.

Will be back for the 2nd day proceedings.
