What other incarnations are there of Mahadev?

I know one of them is Durvasa.

What do you guys think of him?

I feel he is greatly misunderstood by people, like Parashuram.

What do you guys think?

I find it interesting how two Rudra ansh - Hanuman & Durvasa - can be so distinct in their personalities.

But not to forget that certain characters in the Mahabharat would not have existed if not for Rishi Durvasa 😉
In other words, easily angered, but able to be pleased too 😊

@Bold, Exactly what I was telling my mom just few minutes ago. We are grateful to Rishi Durvasa for giving that boon to Mata Kunti 😳

I think people forget that incarnations like Parashuram and Durvasa only ever got angry when they were faced with injustice and cruelty. Otherwise, they were also pleased when they saw true bhakti.

They were 😳
But people cannot associate with Bhakti as well as they can associate with anger

I have heard that Ashwatthama too was a Rudransha. Do you know anything on this?

They were, and they were also the partial ansh of their respective fathers.

And what's interesting is that Arjuna was also a partial ansh of Narayan, as he and Krishna were Nara Narayana. 😳

I haven't heard it, but I doubt it.

Rudransh cannot kill people unjustly, and also try to kill an unborn baby in the womb. 😭

He was a very small part of Rudra. Apparently, this Avatar was taken to show people to have a control on anger, revenge and blind loyalty.
Some sources say this, but I doubt it 😕
