Dharma triumphs over Adharma, Himsa over Ahimsa.

Ravana, though a scholar, committed the highest sin of kidnapping the wife of another. He had to be punsihed.
Deva Indra did the same with Kayadu, Hiranyakashipu's wife. As the Devas were immortal, He couldn't be killed. however, he lost the one thing he loved the most: his throne.
Touching another woman is a sin.

Perfect. ❤️
On a side note, do you like the character of Indra?

Ravana made the mistake of underestimating the power of man, which ultimately led to his downfall, as the Lord, as a man, defeated him.

Indra was not a character to be liked or disliked for me, though I tend a little to dislike. He had a lot of pride, and that led to his downfall not once, but quite a few times. Much as I hate to defend Meghnaad, in all honesty, he was a powerful warrior, and Indra's pride was what led Meghnaad to victory against him.

Indra did commit many mistakes, most of which feature in Ramayana and Mahabharata. Which do you want to discuss first?

Is that okay? I mean, do you want to, or do you want to stick to Lord Vishnu?

We can discuss Indra and all other Gods, as long as we relate everything to Lord Vishnu on this thread. This thread is dedicated to Him, after all 😳

My view on Indra is a mixed one too. I don't exactly know what to say. His Pride is the biggest of them all. And that is sometimes accompanied by the green eyed monster which makes him do foolish things. But at the same time there is a certain bit of respect for him as the king of the devas and arya's father.

Okay, then! 😳
One I really have been curious about is the SatyabhaMadhava and the Parijata.
