This story is also completely believable, but Srinivasa Perumal is usually worshipped with both Shri and Bhu.

I think Srinivasa is shown with two wives Shri and Bhu to symbolize what each of them stand for, and how one cannot attain any one of them without having the other, but ultimately they are Maha Vishnu and Maha Lakshmi.

In fact, mostly, Thirupathi refers to the Lord as Malayappa Swami, with His consorts Shridevi Thaayar and Bhudevi Thaayar.

The Lord is Karunanidhan, Kripasagar. What you ask for truly, He gives.

Exactly

Some versions say he had no physical relations with the 16,100. Some say he did. But whatever is true, it doesn't matter because ultimately, the Lord grants everyone their wish.

It's on us to wish wisely.

Janu, yes, absolutely! We have to wish for what we truly believe in and what is right. Balance. A balanced mind can truly attain Him, as He Himself has said.

That's what I believe too.

But I read some versions that said he had 10 sons and 1 daughter with each of the 16,108.

And I was like, "damn, Dwaraka must have been huge!" 😲😆😆

But I think SB says only the ashtabharya had children.

Only the Bharya did. That equaled to 88 children on a total. 10 sons and one daughter.

As far as I am aware, He had children only with the AshtaBharya, as an extension of the belief that they are the Lakshmis. It basically goes to the moral ground that He can have relations only with MahaLakshmi or Shri-Bhu and any ansh of theirs.
