@Artist_Forever: Thanks! It was originally Arijit bhai's idea. He reminded us of the need for this AT.

I think we can do the roleplay thing, but don't you think we've done it enough times?
Also, this is an AT and not a CC, so I guess we should stick to discussing.

Waise, why don't we start with the dresses of the characters? They were so wonderful!

Also, does someone have the YT links to episodes with sound? The link on pg 1 has been partially blocked, and the only set with sound is incomplete. So, help anyone?

Thanks Pro for the intro! It was much needed😆
Ohh, so a thank you to Arijit Bhai as well

Hey everyone! I am Mahishee but since it's too long, you all can call me Mahi😳.
I usually mess up in Mahabharata discussions but this time I am hopeful to have a great time here!

@Pro: I suggested a role playing so that we can discuss scenes and episodes in first person, that's all. I don't intend to have chats in name of characters. But then it's a collective decision so I won't force anyone.

A great idea and effort!

@Swetha: Beautiful edits and article!

It would be great if we decide a course of discussion to make it a bit systematic. So a just a suggestion, if we could directly start discussing Epi by Epi... We could skip unimportant ones and discuss major events. Characters for a particular period can be decided and taken by members to make it a bit interesting...
What say?😉

Here are two siggies based on the first episode!
Loved Ashalat's grace as she argued with Raaja Bharat! The white saree and the diadem looks really classy!

And Ganga is just so graceful as she puts forth her arguments! Their suhagraat scene was the best of them all! She looked really pretty (epecially those flowers)
in the pleasing blue saree!

@Mahidi: I've no problem, if most of us want roles, then so be it.
Just let's wait till tomorrow to see what everyone has to say, and them we can decide. :)

Ganga depicts just the calm and peaceful nature of the river. Adorned in white, she looked like an angel! The highlight in this brc Mahabharat was that Ganga"'s clothes were kept spotlessly white... A feature that I didn't see in any forthcoming remake.
I loved the simplicity and charm. The perfect grace to represent someone as pure and soothing as Ganga.

Yes. Kiran Juneja did a fabulous job there, maintaining a calm even in the scenes where she had to seduce Shantanu and throw kids in the river.
Actually, she wasn't throwing them; she dropped them in river Ganga and so it must have been like returning to their Mom, in another form, just that they achieved moksha with it.

I adore this scene a lot, when she says it was her life and in her hands. She wouldn't bow.

Shantanu had to give in to her wishes. And poor man just bore the grief of seeing his kids being thrown away.
Until one fateful day, Bhisma was born. And Shantanu could bear it no more.
