When Arjuna was puzzled and asking Shri Krishna about how he can kill his own elders & cousins, then Shri Krishna replied to him "Tu Shok Na Karne Layak Logo Ke Liye Shok Karta Hai Aur Buddhimano si bataye karta hai", here what a beautiful message given by Lord that Truth, Justice is above all relationships don't u all think that this lesson is so much needed and applied in today's world, we can see it how the Corruption, injustice, fraudulence roots have increased in our country, only "Geeta" is taken as holy book for taking oath in Court's but do people know the real meaning of Sholka's in it, if they can than definitely we would have seen a different picture of our own Country.

Words!👏

I think all this is very difficult to absorb at once. The foundation should be made right from the chidhood.

Very True, The foundation should be made from childhood, but its so difficult to find it today, life is moving 24x7, no body has time to sit down and think about it,its all about competition, to prove i am better than the others, we all are running in the marathon of this world, those who left behind are of no use, but is it true ?????what one have to learn and experience it, if he/ she wants peace, joy, happiness in life its the key to all, "that no matter how rich or how poor a person is no matter how intelligent or fool a person is how beautiful or how ugly a person is", its not his true identity its all outer coverings (which changes every time) but one thing that is common in all is the immortal one which never changes and always be their with every one, this very thought gives the meaning to my self this gives me reason to celebrate for what i am, i am the part of that immortal one which will never going to taken away from me😊.

I remember the words of Dalai Lama he said,

"The Planet doesn't need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lovers of all kinds" 😊.

Do you think as per Mahabharata, Gandhari acted as a faithful wife or her act was dereliction of duty? she should have guided and helped her husband by being an eye to the blind king.

I dont understand the logic of blinding voluntarily by a cloth to show love for husband. If she would have not blinded herself she would have imparted good culture in her sons. She may be a good wife in the eyes of some but did she do justice to her role as a faithful wife?

May be in that era this was called love but in today's scenario if one spouse is weak other spouse has to perform extra responsibility.

Actually I made a poll on this few weeks back.Sharing that here because she had a role in Episode-2.😊

Very well observed cherry, i second to u, Husband & wife is termed as the two wheels of a vehicle and both have to be perform equally and here if one is weak than other should have to be more powerful, and it is not the case in history also cherry women always been the support of their husbands (will post one reference).

Here Gandhari preferred to took the blindness of her husband only to make him feel comfortable, she at that point only thought about of Dhritrashtra and how he will be in the guilt feeling rest of his life, and to be a dutiful wife she too closed her eyes, she must have thought if her husband is not going to enjoy the beauty of the world so how could she??

But in my view if any spouse is weak than its more bigger responsibility of the other to take care of the flaws, i feels that husband and wife are the best friends before becoming anything else, because they have to share the whole life with each other and its the duty of each one if one is mistaking than other have to show him/her the right path, if Ghandhari have not taken this step, than she definitely know the evil plans of her brother & took care of her children in much better way and more than anything else whether a person can see or not is not that much matter but the thing which matters the most that is, if one has decided to not look at reality and choose to close the eyes of their conscience than no body can help not even Lord.

And its not abt. only Ghandhari, both of them are equally responsible they were so much blinded in the love of their son Duryodhana and because of him they have not thought about the future of Kauravs clan.

P.S. : No intention to degrade any of the mytho character though they have flaws but because of them we can differentiate between what to do and what not to do, all of us are grateful to them its easy to criticize but they had sacrificed their lives to give us lessons and their contribution will always be remembered in future also😊.

The sutradhar has given so apt title for the act "Blind Era" (Andha Yug), here only two characters who can't see, but most of them having eyes but still don't want to look at the truth, Shri Krishna tried number of times to make Duryodhana understand that war will be the cause of death of thousands and lakhs of people but he didn't want to listen, than Shri Krishna tried to make Karana understand and revealed the truth about his identity but he has given more importance to his in debt towards Duryoadhan same goes with Dronacharya & Bishm Pitamah all of them are so much bound with their own in debt, but why they consider it as their in debt towards the kaurav clan because according to various Dharmshastra's different types of duties are described for human which they have to perform, if they not perform that than they will be indebted for their coming lives also.

But what all of them failed to understand that more than truthfulness we are never ever indebted towards anything, Gandhari levied all the allegations on Lord that if he has wished to stop the war than definitely war would not taken place, but the fact is "Karma Karne Ka Adhikar keval Manushya Ka hai Aur Phal dena ka Adhikar Parmatama ka Hai", so all of them don't want to stop the war, so than what can Lord do in this situation.
