Either way, Mandodari can be considered a demoness, because even if she was the adopted daughter of Mayasura, he was an asura so she would be a part of his caste and culture. Just like Sita Devi is considered a kshatriya princess despite not being born of a human womb. Since she was adopted by Maharaj Janak, a kshatriya King, she also was a kshatriya princess.

SO if anyone wants to be Mandodari in our rakshasi club, they are free to be so!😛 Bhakti would be perfect for the role, but she wants to be the Shukracharya of our AT to keep us rakshasis in control.😆

Bhakti cant Be Shukracharya...In our Rakshasi Group She has to become a RAKSHASI...NO CHOICE 😆😆😆

Mandodari is Fine with her or may be Sursa...Who was actually a divine thing originally but she pretended to be Rakshasi 😉😆

I was watching Jai Jai Bajrangali some episodes, where they showed that Mandodari went to Chandra Deva and Rohini, and she stole the amrit (nectar) so that Ravana would become an immortal. Yeah, there are some stories that say Sita was the daughter of Ravan and Mandodari, but I don't believe it. Sita was Ayonija. Not only Valmiki Ramayan, but even Ramcharitmanas or Adhyatma Ramayana mention Sita as Ayonija, meaning she was not born of the human womb. Sita was born of Goddess Earth and this is mentioned in Devi Bhagawatham too.

I think these side stories came much later on and were misinterpreted by people. Generally, I stick to Valmiki Ramayan, Ramcharitmanas, and Adhyatma Ramayan as the prime sources for Ramayan. I do respect the other versions also, but some stories do not make sense. For example, in Ananda Ramayan's Uttar Kand, it says that Ram asked Lakshman to kill Sita after he leaves her in the forests.🤢 I would never believe that story if my life depended on it, because it portrays Shri Ram as cruel and sadistic.

I also have my reservations about the Mandodari being cursed story, because it portrays Lord Shiva as unfaithful to his wife. I don't believe that he would copulate with a random apsara, forgetting his own Ma Parvathi. Lord Shiva, like Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma, was omnipotent. He also conquered Kaam Dev, so why would he have desires for a random apsara who was not his wife? It's against my idea of Shivji. So I doubt this story also.
