She looks okay for Draupadi, who was never really young - she emerged from the fire probably as a tween, and grew up to 100+. So it would not be in the interests of any actress to play Draupadi, given how she'd have aged.

Not impressed by Shaheer. Also, even if DBSK promos, they showed Krishna teaching Arjun the Gita, and a bearded Bhima fighting Duryodhan 🤔 But the serial never got to it. 😆

Let's see what this one shows. September 16th? I think this serial will debut after IPL 2014!

I'll believe it when I see it.

Seriously, why did they have to delay it for either the Pandavas or Draupadi? Those characters enter the show a bit late - there will be weeks of episodes that they can show about Bheeshma and everyone right up to Pandu, and even then, initially, they'll have only the Kuru kids w/ Drona, which wouldn't be difficult to get. It's only after the gurukul is done that they'll need the adult Kurus, by which time, they should have found suitable characters.

Now, having found them, those actors will have to wait for their turn.

One thing I'm wondering is the scope. If Krishna is the sutradhar, then will he also narrate his own story of what happened in Mathura, Gokul, Vrindavan & Dwarka? Or just Hastinapur & Indraprastha?

New Promo on Satyavati and Shantanu! Actually I really liked this one as it seems like the makers are going to give (hopefully all the characters) a third dimension...something that hasn't really been done before...Satyavati seems to have shades of grey here and it looks good!
