As per what our Mythology Says, Ravana was so overambitious for attaining immortality that he invaded over Shanidev's territory and had imprisoned Shanidev. He kept him in the basement of Lanka. Shanidev remained in Ravana's imprisonment till Lord Hanuman reached Lanka, in search of Maa Sita and when fire was set on the tail of Hanuman ji and with the help of his tail, he set Lanka on fire, He found Shanidev in the basement of Ravana's palace so therefore Hanuman ji made him free from confinement.

Pleasing with that Shani Dev Blessed the whole Mankind that whenever a man will suffer from the Bad impact of Shani and if will pray to Hanumaan, Shani himself will never be able to do bad of him! In this way Shani Dev increased the honor of Hanumanji!

Even ASR has shown this story but with a bit change! Remember at the end days of the war, Ravana tries to change the positions of planets for creating a "Mrityu Yog" for Ram and Hanumanji comes to save him and had freed all those imprisoned planets! Remember? At that time Shani Dev has Oathed the Same :)

Hi all Ramayan fans - finished morning pooja, finished making nashta, finished cleaning this, that and another😆 Now before off on the next task just dropping in to say hello!😛

Btw Varnita dear I just love the scenes where Hanumanji frees all the planets and takes away the bad influence upon Sri Ram. It is really a tense scene so it is a relief to see it all come out for good! I was thinking when I first saw that the astrologer was bit cowardly. I know Ravan has made terible threats to him, but he is helping to do murder. It is very evil.
