Mulraj Rajda who played Maharaj Janak to perfection in Ramanand Sagar's TV adaptation of Ramayan passed away today morning. May his soul rest in peace.

Oh, that's so sad! Do you know the reason behind his death?

He was such a wonderful Janak in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. I thoroughly enjoyed him in that role and will never forget all the affectionate Janak-Sita scenes with him and Deepika. May his soul rest in peace.

He wasn't keeping well since the past month. He was operated on last week. From what we have heard, he passed away due to multiple organ failure.

😲 I'm very sorry to hear that.

He was the BEST Janak Maharaj there ever was and will be for me! No one can compare! His and Deepika's Janak-Sita scenes were so touching and realistic...as if they really were father and daughter...never failed to make me emotional. May his soul rest in peace and may Shri Ram give his family the strength to get through this tough time.

Any idea how old he was?
