I'm going to post a very extensive pic update now of Sita's Maha Prasthaan from RS and AS Ramayan both. I loved how these scenes were filmed in both shows. It makes me cry each time, and both Arun-Deepika and Gurmeet-Debina did a fantastic job portraying Ramji and Sitaji's pain. 🥺

In fact, I am going to post more Uttar Kand scenes from both shows, because I just realized we hardly have any pics from that part of Ramayan. Although it's very painful, it was also wonderfully enacted by Arun-Deepika and Gurmeet-Debina. It had some of their best acting from the whole show. 👏

Part 2Maharishi Valmiki vouches for Sita's chastity and makes a vow that if Sita had ever done any sin in thought, word or action, all the fruits of his penance would be destroyed.

Part 3Ram declares that he has no doubt on Sita's chastity or the fact that Luv Kush are his children, but if even one person in Ayodhya has a doubt on their queen, then his Raj dharm prevents him from accepting her back and re-establishing her on the throne. 😭 Valmiki then declares that Sita is ready to vouch for her chastity.
