I too think it was Durvasa, but was Jamadagni one of the saptarishis? I thought that the list given here was accurate.

I think Durvasa b'cos he was a bachelor, while all the others were married.

If I'm right, anyone else can ask the next question. Either you, or one of the others - maybe Debi, or LJ or anyone else. Like to see some questions from them.

Side note - we had launched this game to make it more interesting and challenging, but looks like some people might be finding it pretty complicated. If that's the case, we've launched a new simpler game for you in this thread in the DBSK forum

Please join us there, if this one isn't working for you. Of course, if people participate in both, that's even better.

Since nobody's posted, let's get this going again w/ an odd one out

Duryodhan, Ashwatthama, Dushashan, Bakasura, Kripacharya, Kirmira

There are 2 acceptable answers here, of which I have a preference for one of them. Whoever gets that one will get the credit for this question.

A rakshasha that Bhima killed, who was a relative of Bakasura & Alambusha.

Kripacharya is odd.

All others were killed by Bhim including Ashwatthama the elephant.

Next question anyone can ask if I am right.

Other possible answer could be Bakasur who wasn't there in Kurukshetra war (I don't know about Kirmir).

Shivang,

You are absolutely right ! Very smart of you to spot the 'ashwathama' googly. Well done.

Shivang

That was exactly my preferred answer! The Ashwatthama thrown in b/w was a trick question. 😈😆

The less favored answer would have been Ashwatthama itself - it was the only elephant in the group 😆 whereas the others were all Bhima's enemies. I'm not sure whether RS-SK was correct in depicting Ashwatthama the elephant as being a part of the Pandava army.

Both Bakasura & Kirmira were killed b4 the war - Kirmira was killed at the beginning of the Pandava exile when he accosted Bhima in order to avenge the deaths of Hidimb and Bakasura.

😊Thanks to both of you.

Actually, it just logically stuck in my mind. I found almost everyone other than 2 killed by Bhim when you wrote about Kirmir. So I started thinking about how Bhim had enmity with all. So that forced me to think how Bhim was associated with Ashwatthama... Was there any story or enmity between them or not.. I just found one event which could be the reason for enmity between them or reason for Ashwatthama's anger on Bhim. And see!!!!! I found my answer!!! Oh got you!!!!😃 Ashwatthama was (or must be) angry on Bhim because Bhim killed one Ashwatthama and loudly announced that.😆 Otherwise that was a real googly. Wonderful.👏

Waise logically, Ashwatthama seems to be an elephant of Pandava army only. How would/could Pandavas know the name of an elephant of the Kaurava army out of so many thousands of elephants?😲 If that elephant was of their camp, any soldier could indicate that coincidence of names to them like Krishna did that on the battlefield as shown by BRC.

I am not asking any question because I am so busy these days that I can't assure tracking this thread. I can just drop my answer in here & there whenever I manage to open it.

Oh, Ashwathama was pissed @ the Pandavas for Drona's death, not the elephant's - actually, his main enemy was Dhrishtadyumna, and then the Pandavas, particularly Yudhisthir & Bhima. Otherwise, prior to that, he was jealous of Arjun - just like Karna was - but other than that, he didn't hate the Pandavas.

Incidentally, the name of the elephant's owner was someone named Indravarma, but I've not managed to find out anything more about him.

That was a brilliant guess by you, Shivang!

Okay, question thrown open to anybody. Oh, and whenever you resume, feel free to join us in the other quiz game in DBSK.
