I, very proudly, call myself a devout mytho mastian. I think I've watched a little bit of every mytho show out there from Jai Ganga Maiya to Jai Maa Shakti, from the old Ramayan and Shri Krishna to the new Ramayan and Jai Shri Krishna, and even BR Chopra's Mahabarat and the whatever few episodes there were of Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat. It is needless to say that mytho shows are my LIFE! But that very important part of my life would have been missing if not for this grand show, Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. It paved the way for these types of shows. It was the first, the original, and the most popular one of the mytho world. All the others followed after that. For me, all these shows are like one. They all show God's divinity and narrate to us great the great stories from the puranas, but this was the first part of the whole.

So I salute the creaters of RS Ramayan, namely Mr. Ramanand Sagar himself, all the actors and the fans, who along with me, are spreading the mytho mania around. My life would me empty without mytho shows, new or old. And I wouldn't have these great friends who I found because of this. So thank you RSR and a happy 25th Birthday!!

happy 25th anniversary 👏 loved everything in this epic ramayan n it was soo beautiful and all the actors did a wonderful job for portraying their characters. when it originally aired i was not even born but i watched re-runs of this show when i was like 8 ir 9 n i use to be soo excited to watch it that when i came home from school i would leave my backpack on the floor n n didn't change my uniform either i would start screaming asking my grandma if i missed anything. i would get soo happy i that i came home on time just to watch ramayan it was truly the magic of ramayan that captured our hearts n continue to do so in future as well. one of my most cherished memories with my grandma is watching this show with her. 😳

Suno Ram Katha aur jai bolo Siya Ram ki

Janaki Thanks for this thread🤗

Wow amazing its been 25 years, and the story the characters are all still so fresh

The classic Ramayan is as fresh as the epic

Its an Amarkatha, no matter how many times you watch it remains new and teaches you a new lesson

I love the whole story, but I love the most the portion of Sita Ram Vibah. There love is so pure. A deivine love the glances they share . The eternal couple meets on earth. I loved that portion
Second is when Bharat rejects the kingdom and comes to meet Sri Ram

Again that portion gives me an eternal joy as such people wont be seen today

then when Seeta ji servives in Lanka against all odds. He strength was her faith in Lord. That he will come to protect her

We should also keep that kind of faith in adversity and he will come to our rescue too

Seeta ji in that portion teaches us to hold on to the faith. She was alone in Lanka surrounded by rakshasis and yet she kept the faith. I admire her strength of charecter a lot
