I missed the initial background that Shani gives in all the episodes. So I'll jump to the story directly😳

The scene is shown where a yagna is being held in asur lok where the asurs are trying to make the Pataal devi happy with a devotional song being played in the background. The puja is being done so that Jayanti the daughter of Bhayasur gains power & blessings from Pataal devi. Bhayasur tells Jayanti to give the bali of 5 rishis who are tied up in chains. One of the rishis says this is not right & he won't let it happen. Saying this he runs from there & jumps in the fire of the yagna. Bhayasur thinks it was good that the rishi killed himself & made their work easier but the rajguru of the asurs tell him that the yagna cannot be completed bcoz there are only 4 rishis left now. He says that Jayanti needs to give the bali of 5 rishis not less than that otherwise the yagna won't be successful. Bhayasur tells Jayanti to go & bring one rishi from the ashram.

Shani at shani lok is saying that there is no mention of offering the bali of living beings to make any Gods happy neither in any Veds or any Purans. Shani says that Bhayasur is not only evil but also showing his daughter the path of evilness & he will get punished.

Jayanti enters Valmiki's ashram of ASR LOL😆 She hears a rishi doing the jaap of Ohm. She slowly goes over there & keeps her weapon down & ties him up with a rope. It's none other than Shani in disguise. Shani wakes up & asks her what she's doing. She says she'll take him with her & give his bali to make Pataal devi happy & become powerful. Shani asks her who told her that Pataal devi would be happy on receiving balis, he asks her did Pataal devi herself asked fro the bali. Jayanti says that Pataal devi is a statue made of stone how can she say anything. Shani says if you call her from the bottom of your heart she will answer all your questions. He gives her a mantra to chant. Jayanti at first hesitates saying he will run away but he assures her that he won't go anywhere until she returns. Jayanti leaves.

Jayanti starts chanting the mantra given by Shani & Pataal devi in her true form appears in front of her. Jayanti & the other 4 rishis join their hands & bow down with devotion. Jayanti asks Pataal devi that will she be happy on receiving the bali of these rishis. Pataal devi replies that all the people in this world are her children so how could she be happy with her children's death. Jayanti is shocked to hear this & realizes she was wrong. Pataal devi disappears & becomes a statue again.

Jayanti goes over to the rishis & unties them & asks for forgiveness & tells them to leave soon. The asur rajguru sees this & tells her she can't do it & tells the other asurs to attack the rishis. Jayanti fights back & kills the asurs & tells the rishis to leave soon. They bless her & leave.

Jayanti goes back to the ashram & unties Shani. She thanks him for showing her the right way. He blesses her. She leaves & turns back to see him & sees that the rishi has already disappeared & thinks he must have been some divine soul who had come there just to guide her & prevent her from committing a sin. She is about to leave but gets surrounded by the asur sena with her father Bhayasur & rajguru😲 She's tied up with chains in asur lok. Bhayasur says that being an asur kanya she has broken their asur norms so she'll get punished. He tells the asurs to take her eyes out. Suddenly smoke appears over there & nobody can see anything. Shani is his previous rishi's get-up appears & unties Jayanti & tells her to leave. Bhayasur doesn't see Jayanti & tells his sena to find her.

Jayanti is being chased by the asur sena throughout the jungle. On the other side a prince is being showed riding his horse & is stopped by Shani who's thinking that it's time to change the life of this prince too. Shani asks the prince that is he out for hunting. The prince says he doesn't hunt & is just wandering to see the beauty of the nature. Shani says in that case you should go to that direction to see the real beauty of the nature & points out to the direction where Jayanti is. The prince agrees & goes towards that direction. He sees Jayanti hiding behind a tree & some asurs looking for her. The prince goes towards her & covers her mouth & says she'll be safe with him. He fights with those asurs & saves her.

The prince is showing getting attracted towards her day by day & he finally asks her to marry him. She says she's an asur kanya so does he still want to marry her. He says it doesn't matter who she is. The scene shifts to his palace where his father, the king refuses to accept her as the DIL of the palace. The prince says if he doesn't agree then he'll do a gandharva vivah with her the next day & he leaves with Jayanti.

The king is angry. Shani appears there & tells the king that though she's born in an asur kul she has no traits of an asur & has a pure soul plus she has even left her asur kul so the king should not have problems with their marriage otherwise there would be no difference between the king & Bhayasur. The king gets angry on being compared with Bhayasur & refuses the proposal. Shani leaves.

The prince is telling Jayanti not to worry & they'll spend the night in the jungle & marry the next morning in the temple. The king along with his army comes over there & the army creates some smoke over there due to which the prince & Jayanti start coughing & fall down unconscious. Then the king tells his army to throw Jayanti out of the jungle😲

Shani is shown saying that now the king & Bhayasur will get punished for what they've done.

The next day, the prince is shown entering the palace in anger & asks the king how he could do something like that. He says that a king is supposed to give sharan to the sharanarthi, even Lord Ram gave sharan to Vibhishan when he went there as a sharanarthi. The prince says that he does the tyaag of his status of being a prince & the palace & everything & leaves. The king gets up from his throne to stop him but suddenly falls with an attack of paralysis😲

Jayanti wakes up & finds her alone & then sees her father & the asurs in front of her. They are taking her forcibly when they get stopped by the prince. The prince fights back but Bhayasur is about to slay him with the sword when Jayanti pleads to her father not to kill him. Bhayasur gets furious on seeing Jayanti being an asur kanya having feelings for a human being so tells his asur sena to take the prince along too. Bhayasur is about to kill the prince when Shani appears in his real form & warns Bhayasur not to do it. Bhayasur doesn't listen & tells the asur sena to attack Shani. A trishul appears in Shani's hands & powers are emitted from it killing the asurs👏 Bhayasur sees it then starts running from there, Shani throws the trishul at him & Bhayasur drops down dead👏 Shani tells Jayanti that she should walk on the path of righteousness always & blesses her😊

The prince & Jayanti have become a rishi & sadhvi & are worshipping Shani's idol. The king suffering from paralysis is brought by two people of his army. He begs for forgiveness. Shani at shani lok is saying that now the king has reformed truly so the punishment cycle ends on him & emits power throughout his body & the king gets cured. The king excitedly says he's ok now to his son & DIL & accepts her as the DIL. All three join their hands in front of Shani's idol & as always towards the end of the episodes, it's followed by a Shani jai jai kar😉The episode ends...

Well, I think it was a good one though there were some things that didn't look pleasing at all😕 Didn't really get it why the King had to suffer from paralysis😕 Of course what he did wasn't good but then I felt the king could have reformed after his son left the palace & did the tyaag of being a prince. The king just got up from the throne; he didn't even get the chance to show any reactions & dropped down with paralysis Why didn't Shani wait & give the king another chance? Didn't like it, keeping in mind how Bhayasur never got a paralysis attack when he was about to slay the prince with his sword😕 Also if Shani could appear in his real form in front of Bhayasur then why not in front of the king, maybe then the king would have listened to Shani?😕

Performances by all the actors were very good👏 I think I've seen the actor playing the role of the prince in some other serial but exactly don't remember where?😕 The actress playing Jayanti seems a good choice for warrior kind of roles👍🏼 not all actresses can bring that power & confidence on their faces while doing action sequences👏 but also a great choice for softer roles too👍🏼 Can she be a part of the MB track 😉😆

I have to admit that MSDK has a pool of talented actors in their pockets👍🏼 even the new actors come up with great performances wonder how come DBSK is lacking in this department & not being able to find one😲

Hey btw that was Gufi wasn't he, the one playing Bhayasur, looks like his voice was dubbed😕

I pretty much agree w/ your comments. Only thing I'll note though - Shani seems to be inconsistent b/w episodes. A couple of episodes ago, he opposed the Kalketu-Meenakshi marriage and tricked her into marrying Brihaspati, and that on the grounds that an asura couldn't marry an apsara. In this case then, why is he encouraging Jayanti to marry a human - find another asura to marry. Shani seems to have a double standard - a male asura cannot marry a female human or apsara, but a male human or deva can marry a female asura. 👎🏼

Also, I wish that the prince & Jayanti were shown as being re-instated as yuvraj & yuvrani - in fact, they could have had the repentant father abdicate his throne for his son & DIL. As usual, Shani couldn't think of a better margdarshan for Jayanti than marriage, even though he ignores his own wife.

I too noticed that MSDK has a rich pool of actors, which begs the question of why DBSK can't get any of them. As it is, most of the roles in DBSK are almost cameo roles - e.g. Jarasandha & Sishupala only have a handful of episodes remaining, and even Balaram is hardly seen these days. So any actress could fill in some of the future missing roles, such as Draupadi, Subhadra, Uttara and so on. This Jayanti above could be a good Uttara.

Harshadev & his daughter Malti are praying in front of the idol of Shani, and then Malti starts distributing the prasad among people over there. Harshadev looks at his daughter then prays to Shani that his daughter is now grown up & needs to get married, will she find a good groom. Shani at Shanilok says that Malti is his devotee so she will definitely meet the man whom she is destined to marry.

Malti is walking with a pot of water & is stopped by Shani, disguised as Baba. He says he's thirsty & she pours water on his hands. After drinking the water, he thanks her & she's about to leave but is again stopped by Shani, he tells her that by seeing her it seems that her father is extremely worried about her marriage. She agrees & says she doesn't know what to do to lessen his burden. Shani tells her to keep 9 days fasting during Navaratri & she agrees.

Malti is shown worshipping the various forms of Durga for nine days. On the 9^th day, she is worshiping the young female kids & they leave. Suddenly, from the idol of Durga, the real Durga appears in front of Malti & says that her wish of a husband will be fulfilled. She raises her hand & light gets emitted from it & two golden bangles are left on her puja thaali on which Durga says that these are her blessings which will help her save her patni dharma. Then she disappears.

Malti excitedly runs to her father who is talking with Sadanand, to show her those bangles given to her by Durga. Harshadev praises her devotion. Sadanand who is watching all this is impressed & says he wants to make Malti is DIL. Harshadev asks him what his son does on which he replies that his son, Manikant is trying to be one of the navaratnas of king Vikramaditya, thus he's preparing the map of the area of the kingdom to gift it to the king.

The scene shifts to Manikant who is running after the chariot of King Vikramaditya & shouting that he has made the map of the kingdom but due to the jai jai kar, the king can't hear anything. Manikant is pushed by someone & he falls down on the ground. His map gets kicked by the people following the king unknowingly & gets destroyed while in the attempt to save it from being kicked, Manikant's hands get injured. A disheartened Manikant picks up the map & cries out that his hard work has gone in vain.

At home, Manikant is shown drawing the map of the kingdom again. Sadanand comes from behind & says that he has fixed his wedding & now everything will be alright. Manikant says he doesn't believe that the entry of a woman can bring luck & if he achieves anything then it's going to be due to his hard work not due to his wife's luck.

The wedding takes place. Malti does the grihapravesh. Sadanand happily hands over the keys to Malti saying that now it's her responsibility & she's the Laxmi of the house. Manikant is not happy to hear this. Sadanand tells Manikant now she is the griha Laxmi of the house. Manikant says he has already told his father that he doesn't believe in such things & says she's just a woman & nothing more than that. She places the bangles in front of the idol of Durga.

The soldiers of King Vikramaditya, arrive at the door & tells Manikant that the king has called him & expressed his wish to see the map made by him. Manikant is happy & goes to fetch the map from inside. Sadanand is happy & tells Malti that her entry has changed the luck of his unlucky son & leaves.

King Vikramadity is praising the bangles of the queen which she said she got if made by the goldsmith. The bangles look similar to those of Malti's given by Durga. Manikant enters & shows the map to the king who is impressed with the map work & appoints him as one of his navaratna. Manikant is happy with the wealth given to him by the king at home. Sadanand sees him & says its bcoz Malti's good luck. Manikant is pissed off hearing this & says it's only bcoz of his hard work not her luck. Sadanand says that Manikant used to work hard even before but never got appreciated. Manikant says that did he mean to say that he never worked hard. Sadanand says he didn't mean it, but Manikant refuses to listen & warns his father never to connect his luck with Malti's & leaves.

Scenes are shown that Manikant is enjoying a girl dancing & wasting all his money on her. Sadanand is leaving the house, Malti is begging him not to leave her & go out on a tirthyatra but he leaves. Manikant is getting wealth from the king & he keeps on wasting it on that girl. Manikant is packing all the money in his house & is about to leave but Malti tries to stop him in vain. He pushes her to the ground & leaves.

Shani at shanilok is saying that Manikant is filled with ahankaar & disowned his father & wife. He got all this wealth due to Malti's wife who is a true devotee.

Manikant is saying that how come the wealth finished if she is the griha Laxmi & throws Malti outside the house. Malt is on the floor crying outside the house. Shani as baba comes in front of her. She remembers her meeting with him & asks him, he had blessed her that she would always remain happy but what's happening now? Shani says that if he shows them the way then it's his duty to even make sure they reach their destination. He tells her to go to her father's place. She asks him what about her patni dharma. Shani says for the sake of her patni dharma, he's telling her to go to her father's place. She agrees & leaves. Shani says till now her luck was connected with Manikant's but now that she has left, Manikant will now get what his luck has in store for him.

Manikant tells the king that he has made the picture of a building that can be viewed equally from the 10 directions. The king is happy to hear this & takes the paper to see the picture. Shani who is standing behind says now his punishment cycle on Manikant starts now. The eyes of Shani get fiery & he changes the picture. When the king unfolds the picture, he gets shocked to see a semi-nude portrait of a woman & gets disgusted. He asks Manikant how he dared to draw a picture like that. Manikant sees the picture & gets shocked. He says he didn't draw it but nobody listens. The queen says how he dared to insult a woman like that, she tells the mantra to insult him & throw him out of the kingdom. He is taken away. Shani sees the similar looking bangles on the hands of the queen & with his power he gets them in his hands & then hides it.

Manikant is searching the cupboard of his room. Shani is outside the window & sees the bangles of Malti in front of Durga's idlol. He replaces it with the queens's bangles & keeps Maltis' with himself, then the queen's bangles fall on the floor. Manikant sees them & gets happy thinking he can sell them & get lots of money.

Manikant is showing the bangles to the goldsmith. The goldsmith gets suspicious on seeing them & keeps asking Manikant from where he got those bangles. Manikant says it's none of his business. The goldsmith says the bangles are really valuable; he'll need more money to buy them. He takes the bangle & goes inside & directs a person in silent to do something & then comes outside telling to bring some more money fast. Manikant is happy. The goldsmith once again questions him about the bangles. Manikant gets irritated & is about to leave. The soldiers come & arrest him. The goldsmith says the bangles belong to the queen bcoz he made them.

Manikant is in front of the king who announces him to get whipped till he doesn't die. Manikant says he hasn't stolen anything but nobody listens & is being taken away, when he comes near Shani as baba, Shani tells him that he's really unlucky, when his wife was with him he had everything & now that his wife is not with him he has no good luck.

Malti is praying to the idol of Shani saying she's the root-cause of everybody's problem, on one hand her husband doesn't love her & on the other hand, her father is worried due to her. Shani as baba appears. He tells her that Manikant has been given death-sentence by the king on the account of stealing the queen's bangles. He tells her that he found these bangles outside her home while passing by & gives it to her.

Manikant is being whipped. Malti arrives there, goes & hugs Manikant. The king asks her what she's doing, he's a criminal. She says her husband has not stolen the bangles as those bangles the queen was wearing were given to her in the form of blessings by Durga. She shows her the bangles which she had & says they belong to the queen & hands it over to the queen. The queen looks at them & says they do look similar to her bangles but she's sure those aren't hers plus it doesn't prove Manikant's innocence. The king agrees & says she has no proof to prove her husband's innonce. Shani as baba appears & pleads him to give her a chance. The king does. Malti hears a voice of Shani telling her to ask the king to break the bangles then. She gives the bangles to the king & tells him to break it. The king takes them & gives it to another strong-looking guy to break it. The guy tries to break it with all force but is unable to do so. Shani prays to Durga saying to help Malti save her patni dharma. Durga blesses, Shani does namaskar to her. While the guy is struggling to break the bangle in vain, sindoor starts falling from it. Manikant is watching al this in shock. Malti says this is the proof of her husband's innocene. The king asks the goldsmith what he has to say about this. The goldsmith says neither he made those bangles nor did he put any sindoor in it. The king gives out the statement that Manikant is innocent & returns back his navaratna designation.

Malti happily unties Manikant's hands. Manikant then folds his hands & apologizes to her & says she is his good luck & griha Laxmi of his home. She says there's no need to apologize & if he has to apologize to anybody then its Shani. Malti & Manikant are worshipping the idol of Shani at home. Manikant says to Shani's idol that from now onwards he will always respect his wife.

No jai jai kar of Shani dev😲

Shani at shanilok says that woman is regarded as Laxmi of the house so men should respect her in that way.

The episode end without a jai jai kar for Shani today😲😕😆

Will post my comments some day later... tired of writing such a long update of an episode which was confusing😕 & disappointing Btw this actress Archana seems to be one of the most favorites of MSDK as she's done more than 5 or 6 episodes already & seems to get repeated again & again. But I have to say she's really good at what she does whether being the victim today or the savior in her previous avatars👍🏼

Completely agree with you last para, from the past few episodes, MSDK has been losing its hold in terms of the story telling but seems that it's getting a good position in the TRP charts for such episodes😲maybe people fall asleep😆hehehe just kidding😆.

This particular episode was a total disappointment, in front of this one; the previous disappointing ones seem to be far better😵

I agree that Manikant was rude with Malti, but I didn't actually find anything wrong if he wanted to prove himself & achieve success on his own. How could that be a sin?😕 Yes his behavior towards Malti after marriage & wasting money on that dancer was wrong, but except these two things, what else did he do to be held in a wrong position. Ok fine, his behavior towards his father was also wrong but if someone wants to gain success with his/her own hard work then how can it be wrong?😲 If one can get success only after marriage then why even try to work harder to succeed just get married & have the share of your spouse's luck, problem solved!🥱 If one fails, no need to try next time just get married 😆

Pranay fell for Lakshmi only after he got to know the real face of his gf. The serial Devi seemed promising only at initial but later on, as it didn't get TRPs, the channel did everything to spice up the storyline👎🏼 And yeah she was used just for the sake of luck

Episode after episode, one thing is getting proved, that true devotees land up marrying bad husbands who abuse them 🤣 I just don't find logic that if Malti was seriously a true devotee & was actually blessed by Durga & Shani to get a good husband, then why didn't she get married to someone who would actually love her from the start rather than getting a husband who doesn't respect her at first, abuses her then finally realizes her value & all that mess in between?😕(ignoring whether Manikant was wrong or right in his thinking)

I'm seriously bored of the portrayal of women in the episodes of being stuck in their patni dharam no matter how they get abused by their husbands🥱 I quite preferred that episode where Archana played the queen & had decided to kill her husband thinking it was the only solution to save the people in her kingdom though it wasn't the right decision. She actually thought above her patni dharam & gave first priority to the welfare of the people in her kingdom rather than thinking about her suhaag & all that👏 At least she didn't get entangled in her patni dharam😆
