That's such a great comparison! Keksi and Kekeyi. They even sound the same. lol!! But most of the characters in our mythos aren't exactly perfect. There are some instances where we hate them and some where we feel sorry for them. Keksi is one of them, I guess.

ur welcome diii, yes i just luv the pati patni scenes in ramayan, ram ji and sita ji had such great chemistry in these scenes !!😍 i honestly live for these scenes, they did not come when the vanvaas story was actually happening since they could not drag the episodes before sita haran😳 so i was sooo disappointed when we barely got romantic scenes, but then ramji and sitaji kept remembering each other one by one after the haran that I was very much satisfied !!😆

yea, ur right dii, kekasi was not totally bad and i liked her when she met vibhishan for the last time after ravan kicked him out ! the words of wisdom she gave him in that scene were really great !😍

AS Ramayan

here is the beginning of the sita swayamvar pic update, folks !!😃 i posted some pics of ram ji and sita ji's eyelock before, but swati dii wants the complete sequence so ill be posting them all slowly.😳 hope u like them, these episodes were some of the best in new ramayan !! i just luved the sets, costumes, and jewelry of all the characters.😍

this track begins with ram ji, lakshman ji, and vishvamitra ji all receiving an invitation from raja janak to come to the swayamvar hall, and then the camera shifts to sita ji's room, where her friends and sisters are getting her dressed and teasing her !!☺️ sitaji sees ramji's face in the mirror and blushes, and her sisters teasingly ask her if she personally invited ram ji to the swayamvar herself, when they both met in the pushp vatika !!😳

all the proud kings in the swayamvar sabha boast about their strength and vow that they will lift and string the bow! then raja janak enters the hall and everyone stands up to show him respect, while janak ji first prays to the shiv dhanush and hopes that the swayamvar will be successful.😳

^^ Wow, thank you SO much for the ASR Swayamvar pics, Mina, this sequence was one of my favorites from the show.😍 Debina was really lovely and innocent, and Gurmeet looked so young and handsome, truly perfect for the role.👏 I can't wait for the pics when they both enter the hall, thanks a bunch in advance!

Which reminds me, I really have to do the RSR Swayamvar and Vivah pics soon, because they are all gone from my previous pic updates due to tinypic.😔 So I'm going to do the RSR Swayamvar sequence before continuing with Ayodhya Kand, hope you don't mind Lola.😉 I didn't think you'd complain, but just mentioning it anyway.

Sitaji is dressed for the Swayamvar by her friends and sisters, while Ramji imagines that he is breaking the Shiv Dhanush (cutest scene!❤️😆). Lakshman catches him and tells him that he dreamt of his brother's victory all night, and Ram says that one must never become over-excited before any contest, because it only agitates their mind and prevents them from doing their best. Vishvamitra comes, conveys Rishi Satanand's invitation, and blesses Ram with victory. Meanwhile, Raja Janak enters the Swayamvar Sabha and greets all the different Kings assembled there.

All the Kings boast about their respective strength and threaten each other with death if the other strings the boy before them.🤪 They are all interrupted (thank God!) by the arrival of Ram, Lakshman, and Vishvamitra to the Sabha. Though it is not shown (probably due to time constaint), the song mentions that all the Kings gathered there see different forms of Ram as he enters the hall, depending on their respective personalities. The good Kings see him as their protector, while the bad Kings see him as a warrior about to annihilate them. The sages on the other hand see him as Lord Vishnu, and offer him their pranaam. When Raja Janak sees his two future sons-in-law (though he does not know it then😆) with Vishvamitra, he personally greets them and offers them VIP seats. All the other Kings get jealous when they see this and insult Ram and Lakshman to assuage their bruised egos.

I read the Swayamvar sequence in Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas, and the part where everyone sees different forms of Shri Ram is my favorite.😍 RCM expands this scene and describes each person who sees Ram differently, and also includes the women present there who see him as Kaam Dev because of their love for him. I really wish RSR had shown this scene, though I understand that time constaint could not have them showing everything.😳 I'm happy ASR showed it though, because not many know this story and the concept is really beautiful. The Swayamvar event itself is written by Tulsidas only, since VR does not have it, so it'd be nice if movies and shows which show this event have it in full and not just the bow-breaking part.
