Sandeep's Failure!!!

Today after a long time, I was listening to Sandeep's album, "Mere Saath Sara Jahan" and I was thinking, how much sony has been unfair to him. His songs would have done great, if they were promoted, whole heartedly!!! There are many songs in the album, jin ki agar video banti tu, it would have rocked. They organized a flop album launch show and actually did nothing to promote him.

For Abhijeet, they made 2 music videos and promoted them big time. He was called for every possible show and party. every Sony event. whereas Sandeep was hardly seen anywhere. he wasnt called once in season 3. he got one video, which was not even the best one. and wasn't promoted at all!!!

I think it is Sony's fault that Sandeep didn't got the due popularity which Abhijeet has today, even though he is not a better singer then Sandeep (my personal opinion) It is coz of sony, that every other person from other channel stand up and make a mockery of II contestants. If you dont respect ur own family members, then why would other ppl will!!!

if they think Karunya was deserving, then see now he has come out with an album, and honestly speaking there is nothing exceptional about it. It is just another album.

I hope they dont do the same with Prashant, and suppress his talent, like they did to Sandeep's!

In some ways we all do our bit towards it, dont we. U filed a petition, got it to the notice of the media. On my part, I do not support anyone whom the Channel blesses with controversial stories... I did not support Abhishek after his parental sob story was flashed on prime time television in II. And in SRGMP, I stopped supporting Poonam after the Judges started making her out to be some kind of bhikari, by begging votes in the name of her poor economical situation. but yeah, it is difficult to completely boycott the show.

Shold not someone do something which will make the channels stop exploiting these young contestants such. I only recall the incident of Priyanka from II 1, where her father decided to withdraw her from the contest in view of the harsh demands and conditiions contained in the agreement. Kudos to that man.

That's where I disagree! You can't compare a great singer like karunya to a below average singer Sandeep. Have you watched II2, every single performance of him was either mediocre or "not-so-great" and I am using those words because I don't wanna sound trashy....
While Karunya on the other hand, is a great flawless singer; you cannot ever compare them....

As far as Prashant is concerned, I am sure he's gonna be another sandeep.. Because again he was good but he was "not the best" in the competition
