Wildcard or no wildcard- people are treating this like some game show or cricket game. This is a talent show where the best singer is supposed to win. You cannot say someone is a good singer based on one or two songs being sung well. They have to consistently sing well to show that they are infact good singers. Amit has been consistent. He didn't even deserve to go out when he was eliminated. There were weaker singers like Suhit who remained. He deserves his spot in the top 2 as has an amazing voice quality, has been consistent and puts in tremendous feel into his song.

If there is anybody who doesn't deserve to win. it's Prashant who got saved inspite of weak performances. Emon, Abhishek, Parleen, Deepali, Puja and even Smita all had to leave because of the biased voting system.

fineeee guys ur ritee....now i understand...i was confused b4....prashant really sucked back thn n he shudv gone out but it was the police force tht kept voring him in....amit is better thn prashant....but prashant is good to be an un-proffesional singer

oh come on ppl stop fighting each other for prashant or amit paul. I mean it's ur choice to vote for the underdog prashant or the mighty talented amit paul. You can't force ur decisions on somebody else. Just make ur own choice and go with it and let it be!

its not goin to b fair that one of the most consistent contestants wins (the title he deserves)
its not goin to b fair that the contestant with the best voice on the idol scene (not to mention the industry acc to javed ji)wins II
its not goin to b fair that the guy whos got the max standing O's, encores frm the audience as well as the judges wins
its not goin to b fair that the one who has garnered un biased praises frm the celebrity judges (ppl with standin in the industry) wins
its not goin to b fair that the contestant who singss lyk a dream (in wot is supposed to b a singin comp) wins

There is no logic to this argument. Only Amit deserves to be indian Idol.
