Indian Idol 3: Deepali, Emon get sweet taste of victory Deepali Kishore and Emon Chatterjee are achievers irrespective of what the final envelopes reveal at Indian Idol grand finale. Much before fate decides the destinies of Indian Idol finalists Prashant Tamang and Amit Paul at the Gala Night on 23rd September, two of the contestants will be already basking in the glory of achievement despite falling short of winning the revered title. For Deepali Kishore and Emon Chatterjee, the Indian Idol journey may be over but life's journey has just begun. But what is it that's keeping the gifted duo so busy despite being ousted out of the show for sheer lack of votes? It is none other than Anu Mallek, the judge who had always been at his aggressive best during all the three Indian Idols . The man is all set to make true the promises he made to young Deepali from Patna, the day she was voted out. "I am a man who has the power to stick to my commitments. I am proud to announce that even before the channel declares the Indian Idol of the country, I will make Emon and Deepali record their first song, which will happen on the 19th of this month. It is going to be for an untitled venture of Shakti Films, directed by Ashim starring Mithun Chakroborthy, Parveen Dabbas and Hrishita Bhatt in the lead roles," reveals Mallek.
