But Javed Sahib does not understand music, and thats why he was against Emon. I've read that so many times by now, so I really don't think it's anything new.

Look...you can do whatever you like. I was just pointing out that anti-JA topics have been posted a little too much, and I think it would be a better idea to move on to something else. If you want to carry on be my guest...I was just stating my opinion on that matter.

On another note, I do not appreciate your personal attacks. I do not believe that I have written anything to suggest that I am a person who doesn't understand what singing is. I didn't even say anything bad about Emon. I think Emon is a very talented singer. Secondly, the worshiping JA comment was also uncalled for. Just because I like his work and feel that continually bashing him on this forum will accomplish nothing, doesn't make me in love with him or anything.

I was just trying to have a friendly debate about whether continuing to talk about the same thing over and over again will really accomplish anything. All I did was stated my opinion on why I believe the JA bashing has gone overboard. I never attacked anyone personally, and that's what I expect from fellow members.

You and I both know what you were implying, especially since you mentioned the word lyricist, but that doesn't even matter to me anymore. Anything I said was just my opinion. You don't have to accept it, and if you want you can continue to give me reasons why you think I am wrong. You might even be able to convince me. And if you thought I was changing the subject, you could have just argued with me about that. You did not have a right to personally attack me, which I am sure you cannot deny that you did.

Yes I am comparing the great musicians comments in VOI and II with a Lyricist's comments. That is called reading through lines.

If only I could understand your logic as clearly as your insults. Ultimately you were trying to refute JA's comments by comparing them with those of great musicians. So it all is, in fact, about JA. But anyway, I'm done with this conversation. I don't have anything against your opinions about JA. You are free to have your opinions, and I will continue advocating mine. I never once defended his action in this thread or said anything against Emon or any other singers with "thin voices", so I'm not sure why I was attacked. I can understand your anger. But being a Emon fan even I have come to accept that this was just a tactic to get him less votes as Javed Ji likes Amit and Ankita more and would support them wholeheartedly. I can understand his support for Amit as he is a good singer. But for some reason he doesn't like Emon- maybe because his voice is thin and he likes deep manly voices like Kishore Kumar, Udit, etc.

A lot of people in India respect Javed Ji and will consider his opinion and not vote a lot for Emon. Though some people in this forum wholeheartedly support Emon, we do not represent much of the population in India who votes. I suggest Emon fans be prepared for a heartbreak this saturday as he has only a 10% chance of being safe. The only way to keep him safe is to vote like crazy for him.
