I partially agree with Javedji!!

OK today how he told off Emon and show him the truth was something i actually liked. For the first time, he didn't hold back himself and told everything he felt. And guess wat He is RIGHT..yes he was harsh and also right, and there is no descrimination in this ! Obviously, this industry has sonu Nigam then why would they need another one??😕 There is nothing unique about him that can set him apart ..he is so right about this , so Bravo for speaking the TRUTH👏

But then at the same time, you can't say Ankita is better than Emon. Emon at least has some knowledge of music where as Ankita doesn't have any thing. So i think that's where he is wrong. HOwever, i did admire the fact that he wanted at least one girl in top three, he is such a feminist!! He was just supporting a wrong girl

But how come he did not say that we have millions of stage performers like rakhi sawants BUT still he felt stage performer has place come on...

I just have one question. Is it right to tell an 18 year old who has reached the top 4 that you cannot perform and will never become a playback singer. Yes, he can criticize his singing, call it flat or say his voice sounded thin or whatever, but is he God to predict Emon's future. I am quite young, but if I was older and was Emon's Mom or Dad listening to Javed Ji telling my son that he can never become what he dreams of in the future, I would ask the judge for an apology.

He can insult Emon's singing as much as he wants, but he or anybody does not have the right to criticize anybody about their future. He is just a mere human being. He is not a music director. Nowdays even a thin voice can be made to sound good. How does Anu Malik sound so good while singing Gori Gori or Unchi Hai building, how does Himesh sound good. It is possible to add base to voices and make them sound better. Rahman made Asha sing the Rangeela re song without music and then added the music and made it sound different. This was on the aside.

I am sorry but Javed Ji crossed his limits today. He owes Emon and his family an apology for saying that the guy does not have a future. In the U.S and Canadian Idols, the judges criticize song selection and singing, they are not given the right to say you have no future. They could be sued. But this is India, and here even if the judge swears at the 18 year old, it will be accepted.

I really want to send a letter to Sony saying that Javed Ji owes Emon an apology. Can someone tell me how to go about it?

Javedji said Emon doesn't have future since he keeps on imitating Sonu, so the logic thing to do is for him to find his own voice and make identiity..and Javedji told this thing to Emon many weeks before, it just that he never paid attention to him, so this week he really went out in open to make his point. I bet, now next week Emon will sing originally.

About judges's comments in US, have u ever listen to Simon Cowell??? HE tells people to never sing ever again, if they used to work some where..he would tell them to go back to their work and never attempt singing..
This is a Reality world, in real life no one is going to pamper u, today for the first time Emon got taste of it..

So Emon needs to learn to take criticism. How about Ankita? Javed Ji said she cannot become a playback singer, but did you if any of the galas hear Javed Ji criticize her like the way he criticized Emon. When Amit sang Mayee re he made a few mistakes which Sonu pointed out but Javed Ji diverted the topic to him singing in different languages. How come Amit was not criticized by Javed?

I think it's obvious the Javed Akhtar is a biased judge. He would never correct Amit or Ankita if they ever made any mistake because he likes them. He is not fond of Prashant and dislikes Emon, hence points out their faults.

Look...all i was saying that Javedji made a valid point today about Emon not being original..he is right that caz of this reason, Emon might not be successful!!

I don't know wat Javedji told other contestants before, i don't watch this show and don't follow it! I saw today's episode ..so i made this topic.!!

I think BOTH of you are right...I think Javed sir could say the same thing in a less harsh tone, and I felt he was overdoing it a little. Plus, this was not the time to say such a thing. He could tll this to thetwo in private in a nicer way, but not only did he sort of embarass Emon, but also gave a little hint to viewers saying hey...dont vote for him types.

First of all he does not copy sonu as sonu himself has said and JAVED AND SOME DEAF FANS did not hear that.

Secondly these judges only selected him and brought him to top 14. Why suddenly now he is bias. He wants to prove himself right bec that Ankita he got in through wild card and it is his ego that is hurting him that janata is proving him wrong.Earlier he alwasy said janata is right etc. etc.

Also javed said yesterday we already have a thin voice singer in the industry i.e. Sonu Nigam. So if Sonu Nigam can rise so much with his thin voice then why not EMON. AND EMON IS ONLY 18 YEARS . HIS VOICE WILL CHANGE AND THAT HE CAN MODULATE SINCE HE IS VERY YOUNG.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION HE PROVED JAVEDJI WRONG BY SINGING KISHORE KUMAR SONG IN THE LAST GALA AND IT WAS SUPERB. IT WAS NOT THEN SONU. THAT KAL HO NA HO IF AMIT SINGS IT WILL NOT SOUND GOOD AT ALL. I AM AMIT FAN AS WELL. BUT THAT SONG NEEDS TO BE SUNG THE WAY IT IS. OK PL UNDERSTAND MUSIC FIRST.

Thirdly, what Javedji knows about singing. At this age he is gone crazy, he needs something to view to get inspiration for his writings...ha....ha....ha.

Thirdly all the musicians ANUJI, ALISHAJI AND UDITJI SUPPORTED EMON AND THAT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude. It's just that I felt bad for Emon's Mom who had to hear Mr. Javed insult her son and say that he has no future in singing. I don't mind Javed Ji saying Emon didn't sing well when he doesn't but predicting his future was too much.

Regarding Emon's voice, you might want to hear him sing piya re sung by nusrat or o majhi re in the piano rounds or his teri deewani in gala 6. You will hear Emon's voice there.

hey i like EMon too , Actually he was the only one who impressed me in the beginning..now i noticed Amit and others , but anyways , my point is just that he sounds way too similar to sonu sometimes, and by making this crtiicism Javedji is only helping him. Because he has knowledge of music and right spirits..so if he finds his identity , then he will go long way! 😃
