from the spoilers...i heard that the Kal Ho Na Ho song was selected by the judges for him to sing. One song is selected by the judges and one is the contestants choice (I think) of a R.D. Burman song.

finally they get to sing two songs! 😊

I like Amit's Dil Kya Kare a lot! Its one of my favorite songs...and it suits him perfectly. I know he will do complete justice to it...can't imagine anyone else singing it. Also, I've always wanted Emon to sing kal ho na ho and my wish has come true 😃 it looks like it will be a good gala, cant wait! hope the voting is as good!

I agree with that! But I do think that Ankita chooses item number songs because they are quite upbeat and fast, and those are probably the best songs for her to sing. Item number songs so far have show off her performing talents(She likes performing!) and makes her almost always sound good. Ankita's quite smart to play her strengths no wonder she has such a big fan base, if she always sound good...it would be hard to condemn her.

I'm excited about Amit's performance! I love Dil Kya Kare(Both old and New) and Amit has just the voice to bring that old(But not forgotten!) film song to life on Indian Idol. Plus Widdle Emon sounds quite good singing Kal Ho Na ho, which is another of my favorite songs. Although if I were him, I'd steer away from singing Sonu Nigam songs because that will just bring up the topic of comparing the two again, and as well all know that has never been a good thing for him.

Lovely analysis 👏 Amit singing dil kya kare! So eager to hear him sing this one. It suits his voice perfectly 😛 I think Anuj sang it in II2 too.

i think what happens is each judge has given four songs to each of the contestent. So each contestent gets to chose the song he or she's going to sing from four different songs. that's why emon has been critisized for chosing the sonu song. it seems a very unfair that they keep picking on him at such a importent place.
i love amit's song. it's my fav hindi song ever. only amit can sing that song cos he has a voice that can bring out the magic of old songs back alive. i'm so excited about listening to him sing this song.

after reading the update i'm in feeling that emon will be out this week, judges are after him

i dont think that ankita can do justice to such a beautiful song piya tu ab to aaja(my opinion only - no offense), i have not heard her, may be the perception can be changed after hearing that, but still i think according to her talent she will miss sur and will be flat and will overcome her faults by her performance and props.

i appreciated her aap jaisa koi, still i beleive she was flat and off sur in in sme places.
