Lataji's take on Today's Reality Shows - Page 3

Well those who are referring to Shreya and Sunidhi as examples of being the winner of reality shows you are wrong.

Sunidhi won meri Awaaz Suno and Shreya won Sa Re Ga Ma Pa when they were pure musical talent hunts. But today Indian Idol and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa have turned into Reality Shows.

This take of Lataji was on the current day reality shows. Its not on the yester years Singing Competetions. Shreya or Sunidhi never danced in front of the judges. There was no public voting. And above all in the path of being the winner they have given so many classical performances along with the popular ones. How many of these II singers have the capabaility of singing even 1 classical number ?

i think she's a really good singer...but how can she insult abhijeet sawant...how can she insult another singer when she herself is a singer..HOW RUDE...!!!! 😡 🤢

it was not insult , she is like a dadi who is caring abt her grandchildren kind

SRGMP has true singing talenr and has todays upcoming talents . Indian Idol is just timepass to see Anu malik n his weird comments !

Last year both Karunya and Amey could sing classical and western songs well. Like I said Sonu raised to standard of the show. We found playback singers who could perform. If he was there, we would have got more Karunya's and Amey's. With Anu Malik's sense of judgement, I think he must have rejected many good singers who might not have looked good in the auditions.

nobody from II is going to make big in future but we r definitely going to see lots of srgmp singers for sure..
r u really going to waste ur money on buying Ankitas album if she becomes II cuz basically sony is giving em contract of musical album not stage shows.... atleast i wont spend even a single penny for a singer like her she can only sing at children,s bday parties or can entertain ppl on weddings etc shez not even fit for stage shows or concerts cuz even tht requires good singing warna anday parain ge stage per usko 😛

I too agree that Saregama singers are better. I can see Raja singing playback and I think Bappi Lahri is already recording a song with him.

But it was Anu ji who picked out Amit and Emon when the others didn't think they could cut it. He picked the best two guys out of this years lot. so he can't be that bad. though i wonder who picked Aisha ,Bhavin, Shantanu and paddy, they were really good too. sad they didn't get a chance.
