this is wrong!!

indian idol is a gr8 show with gr8 talent! but honestly....the judges shld take care abt their comments Sony about how they r publicising their contestants. they are projecting them in a wrong way. like emon yesterday who sang nicely..did his best...was said to be overconfident!! i mean....its the judges who praise him 1st and then when hes consistant, they say hes overconfident....they shldn't have brought this point out! now the audience will feel emon is over-confident and not vote for him....and his talent is not as well recognised as it shld be!

the same happened with ankita....when she gave a wonderful performance in the 1st piano round and then after tht....the judges jus kept on saying shes overconfident abt her performance and she was projected to be a very over-confident gal....it was because of this wrong publicity and comments tht she was voted out!!!!

similarly....richa, whose voice n singing were praised so much unncecessarily during auditions, is said that her singing is not appealing coz of her childish voice!!well, her voice was childish during the auditions as well, didnt they notice that at tht time? if they thought her voice wasnt mature enough....why did they bring her in the top 28 in the 1st place....they might have as well said the same thing in the theatre round rather than bringing her to the piano and the galas and trashing her!!!

Also, abhsheik's unnecessary drama yesterday....fine....he was going through a rough phase in life....but why telecast it? is it gonna help him be the indian idol- NO...is it useful for the people to vote for their indian idol- NO....then why such drama? bringing his parents and stuff....this also gives a wrong publicity and garners sympathy votes from the audience rather than votes appreciating genuine talent....Sony should not project the contestants in such a way...they must focous more on their talent rather than their personal lives.

Moreover, the judges are not really making constructive critisism....the opinions of each judge is as different as north and south poles!!! one judge praises a contestant like anything and the other trashes the same contestant saying it was bad!!!! wht would the poor contestants do now? listen to this judge or tht one? plzzz....dunt ruin the whole show with such silly comments and drama....its a musical show...let it be tht way!!!

Had Richa had a more mature voice which had pleased our esteemed panel of judges, she could have done wonders. But voice is given a lot of importance. Even though she sings well (some admit it) people cannot enjoy her singing due to her voice. She did not SING the worst yesterday *technically*. Charu and Parleen sang very poorly as well but due to their voices and some past performances, it wasn't as much of a big deal.
